A well appointed chalet with excellent facilities
We stayed in a well equipped and very comfortable family suite comprising two en suite rooms on two levels, a sitting area and a kitchen. Perfect for a family of 4 (2x teenagers).
I particularly liked the app through which guests can ask questions, book the spa and order breakfast as well as see local recommendations. More places should have one!
The spa can be booked for private use at no extra cost and was wonderful after a day hiking.
Breakfast was in a restaurant a short walk away. Portions were generous but note that you have to order a set breakfast and it is very “local” so possibly not to everyone’s taste. I would have preferred a mix and match option or a buffet.

We never write reviews so you know this place is special:
Location: perfectly located in the center of town. Easy to get to - street is paved. Parking is free and on the property. We literally got the parking spot right next to the entrance. Safe,easy, amazing.
Reception / check in: Alexsander, one of the owners, kindly waited for us at check in even though we were later than we originally planned on. He was SO kind and understanding. Our Montenegran was not very advanced and his English is excellent so that made check in easy. He checked us in promptly, showed us the amazing reception and hangout area, the spa/sauna area, and then up to our room. It's an easy and short flight of stairs up to the 2nd or 3rd floor. Motion triggered step lights light your way (great touch).
Room: omg. These rooms (he gave us a tour of all of them since we're early in the season and the only ones there) are SO well appointed. Of all the rooms and places we stayed at across Kotor, Kolasin, Virpazar, and Ucinj, this was the stand out amongst them and I would say a stand out even amongst many many USA hotels. It reminded us of Japan hotels - everything has a design AND function. Things aren't in the room just to be in the room - for example, there are well appointed hooks in the right place for all your hats and coats,

I recommend it to Everyone, the Top to Kolasin
As always a 360o confirmation! Perfect throughout, cleanliness, amenities, location, fantastic room is really very great. SPA Top throughout. Owner of an extreme kindness, is an availability above the norm. It's the second year I've been here, but I'll be back next year and years to come. Ps. Super breakfast! I do not recommend it to All, an oasis of relaxation in the mountains.

Great stay at wonderful hotel. The rooms are very nice, everything is incredibly neat and tidy and everyone at the hotel is so welcoming. We would recommend Chalet Kolasin to anyone!

Gem in kolasin
Amazing little hotel close to the center in Kolasin. We had a great time. Hotel managers incredibly nice, rooms very neat and clean with cool alpine vibe. Spa is really nice too. We will definitely stay again
