Amazing hostel

Fantastic hostel in a brilliant location. It was quite social even though on this occasion we didn't make friends. I'd have loved to stay longer and definitely would want to return. The beds were so so so comfortable with curtains - these were the first curtains we experienced in the Balkans. Quite cheap too with lovely clean communal areas and bathrooms. Brilliant.

High steps to climb, heart of old town. 25 mins walk from bus terminal, town renovns on

Friendly staff, clean hostel, in heart of old town, comfortable, toilets and bathroom not separate, long winding steps to get upto rooms from tiny lobby, old town Budva did not have any water for almost 2 days, for toilet, drinking, or anything, quite frustrating for all travellers, and staff didn’t like us asking about it.town undergoing construction works so roads off limits sometimes.

An Affordable and beautiful place for backpackers and travellers to stay in Budva,Montenegro

Freedom Hostel is located in such a wonderful spot (Stari Grad,Budva), and the accommodation was maintained very well.

Hidden treasure in Budva

The owner Nikola and his employee Miloš make sure that you’ll have a great time. They really care about their guests and the hostel. For every question you have they have an answer. For every lack of where to eat/what to do/where to go they have tons of ideas. For every need you might have they find a solution. Always open for a nice chat - with or without beer and Rakija ;) - and a great sense of humor. These guys are legend!
The hostel is so lovely decorated. The common area is outside and has lots of sitting opportunities. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The dorms have only four beds in total which is really nice. Every bed has it’s own huge storage drawer and you get a locker with keys for free. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. It is clean and wifi works well in all areas.
The location is also a big plus. It is located in the old town city center and only a few steps away from pretty much everything on land and sea.
I consider myself as a full time traveler and this place was by far the best I’ve stayed in quite a while, even though it was getting off-season. I came without a reservation, wanted to stay two nights and ended up staying almost three weeks. A place like the Freedom Hostel is a hidden treasure and one of the rare hostels you truly get that instant “home away from home”-feeling the moment you walk in.
Nikola and Miloš, it was an honor to meet you guys and to stay at your amazing hostel. When (not if) I come back to Budva, I definitely come back to you. Thank you for everything :)

Well run place

One of the better run hostels ive come across. Kept clean, nice courtyards, well stocked kitchen gear, very good management. If i ran a hostel it would be like this. Good job, would recommend this to anyone
