Cleaned, confortable bed and spacious room but tiny bathroom; there was not ventilation in our bathroom and no window at all. The swimming pool is so small that worth have it spotless at all times. For breakfast there is not much variety and no way to substitute the black fried beans. Could be very creative with an assortment of fresh fruits, yogurt, cheeses, Deli Meats and bread. Parking is by Nextdoor, on your own risk, no security guard but didn’t feel any threats at all. Staff always friendly and courteous.

The staff went above and beyond duty. I booked a late night reservation, and the receptionist was amazing. He made sure that I was able to find parking and was even able to get a toothbrush and toothpaste for me! I also needed to charge my phone and he let me borrow his cube. Exceptional service.

Staff was great, the room smelled really bad because of the stage system, the bed was really hard like a board, however the room was very clean and well kept, they respected my property in the room when they went in to clean, overall a great experience!

Cheap is expensive... and with bad rest
If you are looking for comfort and good service, this hotel is not the best option. Since I arrived, the experience was not pleasant. My room was small and had a strong musty smell. I asked for a change at the front desk and, after a lot of hindrance, they moved me... but to a room next to the cellar. The result? Constant noise of staff coming and going, impossible to rest.
I wanted to take advantage of the time working, but surprise: there is no adequate space for it, no accessible sockets to connect the computer. To top it off, the internet is lousy and the signal flashing.
Parking is another problem: if it’s full, you have to leave your car blocking other guests, which means they can wake you up in the middle of the morning to move it. Real chaos.
In short, the hotel may be budget, but poor service, inconvenience and lack of guest service make it not worthwhile. Best search other options in Merida.
