Excellent concept; but with some buts....

Nice place; nice decoration; super comfortable bed. But it would be appreciated if the balcony door sealed to isolate noise; since the noise level in the area is unbearable. And if I had water, the roof to get in, it's still mild and cool, it would make a difference. That it's empty looks awful and disappoints a lot. The smell of bathrooms, important to check.

Read carefully

As soon as we settled in Malecón 1680 surrendered, hungry and eager to explore the city, we discovered that the balcony, which overlooked the main and joint street to the next room, did not close. We then discovered that the safe was locked. It was open with code and not operating. It was infinitely frustrating to discover that the only public attendance was via WhatsApp, so we waited until a guy arrived to tell us not to worry that the city was safe!! There was no room available to change and we were stuck. We advised you that we would have to go to find other accommodation. So we did. Now, they don't want to refund our payment for the remaining three nights because they had a non-refundable policy. Sure!, but how to demand that a customer settle without the most basic security? It's time they didn't come forward and keep our money. I intend to sue.

Very Very Noisy

This place is amazingly clean, has the comfiest bed and pillows I’ve ever experienced whilst travelling and is positioned right where you want to be in La Paz. Walking distance to everything with a perfect little patio to sit and watch the world go bye. Excellent spot to watch the sunset or head up to the rooftop which has views of the whole bay. Pictures from up there are sensational. Would’ve been helpful if we had extra towels for our stay and a spare toilet roll but overall couldn’t fault the modern amenities. The only huge downfall to this place is the noise, loud music and loud cars just go all night and to at least 2am in the morning. Not much sleep in that comfy bed.
