Great hotel for the price, clean and near the airport.

Very modest hotel 10 minute drive from the airport.
The hotel has very friendly staff, Breakfast is great (made to order). Typical mexican breakfast (eggs, refried beans and chilaquiles).
The room is very modest, with no amenities. but was clean.
The internet wasn't the greatest, but was great to stay in contact.
They also have a paid shuttle service to the airport (you need to ask for it).
If you are looking for a hotel with all amenities, this will not be your choice.
The hotel is somewhat far from downtown, but it is great if you have a car.

Bad at billing, I don't think about it again.

All right with the accommodation, but I didn't get the bill. I sent my details to a wats app and if they answered me later, but it's day I don't get the bill. I spoke on the phone and was answered by a person committed to solving the problem and I still wait, today is the 8th day of my stay.

A simple, but nice hotel for a great price.

I have stayed at some of the pricier properties in Durango over the years, and this year--since it was just my wife and I--decided to give the Hotel del Norte a try. The rate per night (March, 2016) was $20 (340 pesos), including a very decent cooked-to-order breakfast. The hotel resembles a motel de paso (maybe it is?), but we found it very satisfactory. Parking is by each room, all within the walls of the property. The room had a king size bed, ceiling fans, TV (only a couple of channels), and a nice sized bathroom, with shower. The attendant was very polite and helped us order a carry-out pizza over the phone. Had wi-fi, but didn't really work. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, and we'll return!

Motel just off toll road with secure parking

Small motel on edge of Durango, just off toll highway. Secure parking. No pool. One room (ours) was separate from rest of motel. Friendly staff. Not much English spoken. Reasonable rates ($35 US)/nite. El Kilo Restaurant and Pemex just down the road. (Restaurant was great!) Good stop between Saltillo and Mazatlan.

Tiene chinches

Pesimo lugar para hospedarse, no hay agua caliente(tibia a fria), las camas y almohadas son muy incomodas hay chinches en los cuartos, el desayuno es regular, en resumen el peor hotel que he visitado.
