An Unforgettable Stay, Between Nature, Authenticity and Warm Welcoming

We had an exceptional time at Origin, Eco Chalet in Rodrigues. From the moment we arrived, we were seduced by the ecological and responsible values carried by the place: a harmonious integration into nature, an environmentally friendly design and a peaceful atmosphere that invites to slow down and enjoy the island to the fullest.
The chalets are simply magnificent, combining comfort and authenticity, with breathtaking views that change over the hours of the day.
We were greeted with great kindness by Eloise and her husband, who put all their heart into this project. But we would like to thank Nathan and Samuel, who regaled us with tasty and inventive local cuisine, while sharing with us valuable addresses to discover Rodrigues off the beaten track.
This stay will remain etched in our memories. We left resourced, inspired and... with one desire: to return as soon as possible!

Bad experience

Very disappointed because the hotel charged me a non-existent tourist tax and refuses to refund me. He owes me 51.12 euros for a ,3 days accommodation.

A peaceful place to recharge!

An intimate setting with a limited number of guests, meaning a 100% peaceful experience, no noise — only nature around… the perfect setting to recharge your batteries. The decor is gorgeous and rustic, the room was cozy, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything is produced locally, the ingredients are fresh, the food is scrumptious and prepared with love, and we loved that Origin is eco-friendly. The team recommended some great activities during our stay, and to show that they really think about everything: they provide you with reusable water bottles, towels and a waterproof bag for when you wish to explore the island.

A magical place not to be missed

We stayed two nights
A wonder an idyllic place
Perched in the mountain
Cottages made with great taste , decoration worthy of very large hotels , nothing was missing, full of small details , a real wonder for the eyes , the restaurant is also beautiful , the materials used are really beautiful
The cuisine served is delicious
Nathan warm advises you
Eloise and her husband the owners of her place are simply adorable
This stay with my husband was a delight
We are planning another stay in this haven for longer and with our children
You can only be charmed by the place
