A perfect hotel experience!

Located within the walls of Valletta, Domus Zamitello was the perfect hotel for us. We were able to walk to so many places: Fort Saint Elmo, the waterfront to catch a boat to the three cities, the co cathedral. Our room was amazing, but the staff was the best part. Owen picked us up from the airport (very early flight) and dropped us at the hotel where they stowed our luggage. He suggested we go tour Fort Saint Elmo to get an overview of Maltese history and we were SO glad we started there. He then took us on a five hour tour that was just perfect, a blend of history, culture and yummy food. One of the best tours we’ve ever had. The manager, Moul, introduced himself to us at breakfast one morning and when he heard, we wanted to see the three cities printed up detailed instructions for us to get there and what to see. Most appreciated. We loved everything about our stay at Domus Zamitello, and if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will definitely stay here!

A TRUE GEM OF A HOTEL!

What an amazingly beautiful place to stay. Right in the old town and walking distance to the best restaurants. Staff here are exceptional. Maria, Sandra and Mall made us feel so welcome and looked after any special needs we had. Thankyou for making our stay in your beautiful city so wonderful.
While there, make sure you visit an amazing restaurant that’s only 4 minutes walk away called N’duja Osteria. We had the best pasta we have ever eaten in our lives there

Excellent Choice

I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel on the main street in Valetta. The accommodations are lovely and the service is exemplary. The general manager is ever present making sure his guests are happy and well informed about all that the area has to offer. A gem!

Unexpected Excellence

What an unmatched location, architecture and hospitality for a first visit to Valletta!
The hotel is a jewel box located in the center of all activity.
The hospitality under the leadership of Moul Hajjar sets a new standard for what a guest can and should expect from their hosts.
My wife and I met him over the impressive, complimentary breakfast when he came over to introduce himself and ask about our overnight comfort.
It was like renewing a relationship with an old friend.
His congeniality and authentic interest in your home and destination led to an animated conversation about Malta, what we should see given we only had a constrained amount of time and finally his offer to arrange for tickets to obviate standing in line, or transportation if required.
All in all, perhaps the best experience had in accommodation, price and management caring.
If you plan a trip to Malta, this boutique hotel should be the only lodging on your list.
