Clean, pristine, comfy.
I booked this place via the dive center in the island, and would recommend it anytime.
The place is spotless. Bed - very comfy. Hot water - enough and water pressure plentiful even on the second floor (I have been to other places where it was less so…).
Aircon - no issues. WiFi - stable.
As I dove everyday, I had brought my own breakfast and tea, but Sheerif, the go-to-guy in the hotel prepared the perfect Maldivian breakfast on my last day.
The Iris beach is close to everything and anything, the local island is manageable on foot.
Highly recommended.

Not so good
I spent four nights at this guesthouse in May 2026. After first a week-long liveaboard and then a good hotel on Fuvahmulah for a week, this was a major disappointment. The guesthouse has virtually no facilities and is very low-budget. It is only possible to have a simple breakfast; other meals are not available.
In the first room I was assigned, the air conditioning did not work, so I was given another room. That air conditioning did work. Apart from that, there are no facilities in the room (which has a small separate bathroom). So, no TV or fridge.
Of the four nights I stayed there, I had cockroaches in my bathroom for three nights. First two, then four, and three on the last day. That is pretty gross.
The guesthouse was booked by my travel agent and was part of a three-week vacation in the Maldives. If you are looking for a low-budget guesthouse, you are reasonably well off here, but if you want a bit more luxury or amenities, you should avoid this guesthouse. I would have preferred to pay a little more for a better stay.

A stay to repeat
Definitely an experience I would recommend. The incredibly nice staff, worrying all the time about our stay being perfect (they even put our clothes in the room while we were away during a heavy storm)

Nice hotel, clean rooms, beautiful view
Very nice hotel, on a quiet place, 5 minutes distance from the bikini beach and 2 minutes from the central street.The hotel staff is super kind and friendly, the rooms are simple, but clean, with comfortable bed, AC, hot water in the bathroom, with a small but nice terrace.Our room was with a beautiful sea and sunset view.
I recommend Iris Beach, and I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful, Private and Relaxing
We stayed in Iris Beach for 4 days. including kids we had 10 in our group. it was very peaceful and private with beach in front. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with an excellent view of house reef and nearby islands. Everyday day we saw baby sharks and other fishes from our balcony. Best place to enjoy a nice view, relax on sunbed, go snorkeling or just enjoy on the beach. we and kids had a great time. Highly recommend the hotel.
