The best place to stay in Miri. Definitely no doubt about it. The standard room type was clean with a panoramic view, facing the south China Sea. The bathroom showers very good and so powerful. The bed was soft and clean. Except for the pillows. I should have changed to a soft one.
However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious and we enjoy it every moment especially the nasi goreng.

Aging Hotel in Need of Immediate Upgrading

The hotel is poorly lit and badly maintained throughout the property — including the room, bathroom, and common areas. The toilet at Level 7 was especially concerning, with marble pieces already dropped off and exposed metal framework visible. The lift also made creaking sounds, which did not inspire confidence in safety or maintenance standards.
Inside the room, the hot water and shower controls were difficult to adjust and overall did not provide a comfortable stay experience.
The pricing was also exaggerated at around RM200 per night excluding breakfast, seemingly due to an ongoing function or event. For the rate charged, the hotel does not meet the expectations of a 4-star property and is in serious need of refurbishment and upgrading.
Security is another weak point — guest room floors can be accessed freely by anyone, which is uncommon and concerning for modern hotels nowadays.
The only strong plus point is the location, as it is directly connected to a shopping complex and convenient for nearby amenities.

This hotel is perfect place to stay if you need comfot for you and your family. Easy access to Bintang Megamall. Complimentary free parking for patrons.

Very limited choice for breakfast meal. Staffs need training on customer service.
