Our 2nd time here! Perfect budget spot right by the Waterfront (3-Night Stay)

The Location is Unbeatable: Honestly, this is the #1 reason we came back. You are steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, right near Chinatown (Carpenter Street), and close to local malls. Everything is incredibly walkable.
Comfy Beds & Great AC: Tune is famous for its 5-star beds on a 1-star budget, and they delivered again. After walking around in the Kuching heat all day, coming back to a freezing cold AC and a super comfortable bed was a lifesaver.
Lovely Staff: The front desk team was very friendly, helpful, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. (Note: Keep RM50 cash ready for the standard room deposit).
The Room Size: The rooms are very minimalist and compact. If you have a lot of big luggage, it can feel a bit tight. It's totally fine if you just use the room to sleep and shower, but don't expect a lot of lounge space.
Basic Amenities: It truly is a "pay-for-what-you-need" concept. They provide the essentials (towels, basic toiletries, TV, and hot water), but don't expect extra luxuries like a mini-fridge or complimentary bottled water. Will we stay here a 3rd time? Absolutely. For the price and the prime location, you really can't beat Tune Hotel if you're looking for a clean, safe, and budget-friendly place to crash in Kuching.

Good And Recommended

It was a great stay for a short transit. The hotel is conveniently located near the waterfront, making it easy to explore the heart of Kuching on foot. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The housekeeping staff were also courteous and helpful throughout my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget friendly option for a transit stay.

Affordable & Comfortable

Second time staying here with my friend. Always choose Tune because of their good location and services. Room a bit run down but there was improvement from my previous stay. Looking forward to stay here again.

Good stay

Hotel in a very good location which is so convenience. However, the room really need a refurbishement. I had to change my room due to mold but lucky enough receptionist upgraded my room. Not much of amenities in the room but my second room comfy and clean. Hope they do something with the room condition or else the hotel would be so good and affordable.

All good, will repeat. Also strategic location, just opposite waterfront. Worth the money. Really recommended for a budget hotel.
