Perfect Glamping Weekend
Excellent glamping stay with cool weather. The stream is not deep and safe for children and adults can enjoy dipping in it too. There are 8 toilets and all are very clean with garden-like setting, with water heater too. Wi-Fi is available throughout the premise and it even has Coway machine at the dining hall.
Breakfast was simple but delicious. Absolutely a must-stay, will try the chalets next time!

Affordable glamping trip with friendly staff and environment
Very friendly staff, especially the customer service able to answers all my questions before the trip, which give me a peace of mine to prepare ahead on what to expect from my trip. It was an awesome trip.
• Location: The location is good, short drive from KL.
• Car Park: Just beside the reception counter, with plenty of parking space
• Check-in and Checkout: Easy and fast as no key was needed. Just a quick briefing by the friendly staff.
• Tents: Book 5 tents, our tents are tip top condition and position next to each other. Clean bed sheets, stand fan and lights in the room. They have provided an extension power cord just enough to charge our mobile devices. You can hear the relaxing river stream flowing sound as our tents are just beside the river side.
• Dinning Hall: Few steps away from our tents, it was spacious and windy (plenty of fans above us). Cleanness of hall are dependant on the guest, as the diners will need to make sure to put away the trash and used utensils in the designated area before they leave. Some chairs are dirty due to left overs crumbles leftover. Overall good place to sit and chat.
• Restroom: The glamping site has 10 restrooms. I was spacious, clean and good lighting. It has a standing rain shower, toilet and small green garden.
• BBQ Night: We rented 2 BBQ pit, our bbq dinner was the highlight of the trip. The BBQ rental was equipped with charcoal, fire starter, tongs and a simple standing BBQ pit. Skewers weren't provided, instead we line the grill pit with aluminium foil. We BBQ our dinner beside our tent area. They have garden table and chairs where we can sit as well. Do bring along your portable table, chairs and spotlight if you have any that would be very helpful.
• Breakfast was simple and tasty selection. We had nasi lemak, fried bee hoon, sweet pop and a kuih.
• River time: My kids had a fantastic river water playing time. The river was shallow with clean river water and river flow was steady.
There are some minus points but not a big deal:
• Location: A bit of bumpy road when entering the site.
• BBQ Pit: Our bbq pit rental, suppose to comes with skewers, but it wasn't provided.
• Some part of the places can be seen a bit run down, the hanging bridge was broken when we are there.

Basic necessities wasn’t up to our satisfaction!!
We stayed here for 2days 1 night..
It’s like an off-road journey (muddy) to reach to the site.. you’ll hv to drive thru a a narrow old bridge to cross the stream..
☑️you hv to bath in a shower that hv only a few droplets.. also no hot water.. when checked with the receptionist they said yeah it’s common here.. it’s a sharing bathroom and it was not cleaned from the day we checked in..
☑️the tent is spacious fr all 4 of us however i would only rate 2 for cleanliness.. fan full of dust / bed was dusty too..
☑️the walkway lighting near our tent was not functioning.. so we weren’t able to sit at outside at nite.. pitch dark..
☑️ the checkout time is 9am, bfast provided. The table wasn’t clean, plate/utensils are not cleaned properly too.. Nasi Lemak was convincing.. only tea was available..
The nature and flowing stream was so breathtaking.. the chilled weather at night (19c).. loved it!!
If this glamping site could provide the best basic necessities it would be the best place to explore..

Nice quiet environment close to nature
We booked a Kampung chalet through Booking.com and received a confirmation email from them of the booking. However, on arrival, we found that Booking.com had messed up and failed to inform the owners of the booking.
Luckily for us, the friendly owner Tuan Hashim and his wife, was able to accomodate us at short notice as they had a Kampung Chalet unit available.
The place is close to nature with spacious grounds full of flowering plants and some fruit trees, a pond, a catch and release fishing pond where the dining hall is, glamping facilities and so on.
They have a boathouse unit, a bungalow which can accomodate a whole family, modern chalets, Kampung chalets,as well as glamping tents.
Some networks will have minimal coverage so you will be pleased to know that they have WiFi available.
Our room had Astro satellite TV and a DVD player for entertainment, although ours had some problem with reception at the time of our stay. With a queen sized bed with mosquito netting, a small fridge, air conditioner and ceiling fan, a small space to hang our clothes, and a bathroom with hot water shower, basin, and a WC. Toilet paper, body wash and shampoo were provided. Buffet breakast is included.
Nearby streams for playng and soaking in runs by the property.
Makes for a fun time for the kids, and a nice, quiet, relaxing environment for the adults.

Family Retreat post PKP to Sailor's Rest Janda Baik
We made the right choice when choosing Sailor's Rest Resort for our family Retreat. The place is so peaceful, clean with beautiful surroundings of flora and fauna. The river is just next to our Campsite. My children really enjoyed their Glamping experience because the campsite is clean, comfortable and no insects repellant is needed. The owner and caretakers are also friendly and attentive to our needs. Will be back here
