Dodgy and grubby

Sea view room with no sea view. Was told that in french a room facing the sea means a room in that direction nothing about a view. Then was told the views were built out but when going up a level higher I could see water from the building.
Check in was dodgy. Was fully paid on Hotels.com but they insisted they never receive pre payment. Manager called down who eventually conceded it was paid .
Room had air con but no remote to turn it on.
TV had one chanel.
Fridge did not work and the door stayed open.
Room condition generally grubby.

This hotel was terrible. I paid for a sea view room but could not see the sea. I complained to management who said it was a "sea facing" room. This was a scam. I went to a higher level and could see the water from their. I think they just gave my room to someone else.
The bathroom was mouldy. The room had a musty smell. The bathroom fittings were in a state of disrepair.
Over night a large cockroach took up residence in my shoe
