Restaurant is still good.
The menu is new, quite a few choices, but some dishes are missing, including 3 desserts marked with a logo explained by the server.
The appetizer is a smoked fish platter, decent.
The main course was tandoori chicken, very good, generous with well-made mashed potatoes.
The prices are in line with this category.
The service is less classy than at the beginning, but it's okay.
I recommend it and will return soon.

A very good hotel in Mahajunga
I had also been in the hotel that was called La Piscine at the time and that was in this location a long time ago. It was the best hotel in town at the time.
And as much as the Baobab tree Hotel is also for Mahajunga.
Despite a price that can deter some, especially Malagasy locals,
The hotel offers fantastic facilities, including outdoor pool, indoor pool, spa/hammam, fitness center, restaurant.
The room is large, spacious, even if small shortcomings could perhaps be improved - lack of information for essentials in the room, empty minibar... For the rest of the services, I was able to test the outdoor pool, which is big enough for everyone (even if I remember it is much smaller than the one at La Piscine), I was able to test the gym where there are the essentials and no more... The real weakness is the restaurant. If the bar is particularly effective with good bonus cocktails - which is rare in Madagascar, the restaurant clearly struggles to raise the standard - already visually but also in terms of tastes. If the whole fish are ok, the rest struggles to convince.
