Great service and staff
We stayed for 2 nights as we explored Diego. The hotel is directly facing the ‘sugar loaf’ we had a view on to the swimming pool. It’s a small hotel with comfortable rooms. Not much storage, we kept our stuff in our cases.
Breakfast was simple, nice baguette, and the staff are very attentive. There’s a nice bar and it’s quiet.
Note: if you pay your bill by card there will be a 5% extra charge due to cover the transaction!

Very bad experience, establishment to avoid.
I had paid the full amount of my stay, about 400 €, a week before my arrival. Unfortunately, my experience at the Suarez Hotel in Diego was extremely disappointing.
The entire complex is very run-down. The furniture is old, damaged, and sometimes broken. The pool was in a concerning state, with green water that gave the impression of obvious neglect.
The small terraces of the bungalows are deteriorated, with cracked and raised flooring due to tree roots. The very dense vegetation leads to a significant presence of mosquitoes, both day and night, making the stay particularly unpleasant.
The bedding is very old, the box spring creaks at the slightest movement, and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom and the toilet are very small, with aging fixtures, worn tiles, and a level of cleanliness that leaves much to be desired. The shower provides only a very weak water flow.
Regarding the dining, I was ill for three days after eating on-site, which raises serious questions about hygiene conditions.
Moreover, the hotel is located far from everything. It is practically impossible to go out without taking a local taxi, which incurs significant additional costs.
Finally, despite all these problems and my early departure, the manager refused any commercial gesture or refund.
I am extremely disappointed with this establishment and I absolutely do not recommend it. The value for money is very poor, and the overall condition of the hotel does not meet the legitimate expectations one might have for a stay paid in advance.

Bof. Very expensive for not great.
Friendly hotel and especially conveniently located outside the city. 10 minutes in tuc-tuuc, that's perfect. The team is super nice and friendly, always smiling.
Very good restaurant.
Dahlia massages are a plus to enhance a relaxing stay.
A downside for the bungalow... much in need of refreshment especially at the level of the Bathroom, black joints, flushing HS. Paintings aren't great.
The pool was green when we arrived...
For a 75 euros a night hotel in Diego we expect a more luxurious standing. No decorating effort or on the towel... a little soap that feels good alone...
Here for 75 euros we expect better and not bof...

I REALLY recommend this small hotel!
Quiet, but close to the center and on the road to the beautiful beaches, you will be welcomed by a very professional staff, always smiling and in good mood.
A special mention to Antonio, who goes out of his way to advise you, help you solve your logistical problems, catch up, ...

Great hotel for few nights ❤️
The hotel is not far from the city, but you still get a privacy and security. There is a lovely view on their sacred Island called Pain de sucre in front. You can see it from where their swimming pool is. The pool was clean and always blue. I loved the little waterfall that falls into it. Our room was great for couples, the pillows and blankets were really soft I even upload a picture but we made it a bit messy haha, it was nicely done of course. We had an AC and also fan in the room to keep us cool, because it got hot during nights. I LOVED little geckos that got into our room! They are harmless and it was a great experience for me since I love animals ❤️. The shower and bathroom was pretty good, sometimes water turn cold but in hot weather it was actually bearable. The food was great and staff was very friendly, too I'd love to go back ❤️
