KUN

Hotel is directly next to bus station which houses a large supermarket also. The main train station is only a few minutes walk further along the road. I took the express train to Vilnuis which only cost about 6.00EUR first class!
The room was standard Ibis and had most things that you needed.
Only downfall was no tea and coffee making facilities and only a payable coffee machine in reception. There was however a free water dispenser.
The bar never seemed to be open and the advertised all day snacks were not available. The receptionist did say she was happy to get drinks from the fridge 24/7.
Breakfast was sufficient although staff very miserable. The reception staff on the other hand were very friendly and welcoming.
I was there for 3 nights and enjoyed 2 leisurely breakfasts but on my departure day i went downstairs and it was full to the brim at 7am! There seemed to be a big party of policemen staying who all must of been starting a course at the same time.
The hotel is quite a walk from the actual Old Town but there is a large shopping mall within about 10 mins walk.

Bed linens had spots on them. Breakfast is foul, 14€ is extremely expensive for days-old vegetables…

Good price and perfect location

+ Friendly, easygoing, down-to-earth reception staff.
+ Perfect location, near the city center, Laisves Avenue, Akropolis, etc.
+ Perfect room temperature.
+ Good price (got a discount from booking)
- Too boring inside the rooms. Some colors or paintings would help.
- Kind of hard beds.
- No tea, no cups.
For the price I paid, it was good.

Came to Kaunas with my mother so we could our family roots and everything about this hotel was excellent the staff, service, location, transport links etc

Calm, quiet and relaxed

Plenty within walking distance and has good transport links to get around the town
Safety
Very safe even though quiet streets.
Walkability
Around 10-20 mins to shops. Old town around 30+ mins on transport accesible at the back of the hotel
Food and drinks
Pizza place nearby. Breakfast is also good at the hotel but again you can walk/ get bus into town

I stayed from Tuesday to Friday. My room wasn’t cleaned once. The toilet was leaking and the bathroom overall was in bad condition. Do not recommend.
