Tranquility in the forest:)

It was amazing experience. So calm and peaceful. We spent weekend with the friends, took all house for four families. Rooms clean and warm, breakfast deliciouse, forest all around:). Highly recommend for weekend, restart your batteries:).

Small village

If you try to find a quiet place for weekend or for short vacations this place in heart of Ignalina is the right place for you. Small village located deeply in the forest could also be the best place for team building. You will find there wooden houses with modern gadgets like a TV and etc., very special local food and pleasant staff. Just try it :)

Wonderful place in the middle of the forest

Miskiniskes is a place consisted of several rooms in one house and several houses. The location is lovely. The owner and staff - excellent, helpful. Breakfast is based on their products: bread, jam, honey, curd, even tea (herbal of course: try plain and ferment. Dinner - fish, home made rice with mushrooms! OK, some things could be organized a little bit better - e.g. there is no wardrobe in the room. But look at the sky in the night - you can see stars! A lot of them.

Peaceful and Delicious!

Marija and her team aim to please. We received homecooked meals from all local food as well as a fabulous sauna. Our dog and kids had a lovely time roaming around the property with trampoline, trails, and a private fireplace. The attention to comfort and detail are to be commended. Incidentally, our car broke down, and Marija bent over backwards to make sure we got to our next destination.This is a great place to go to get away!

Beautiful location with fantastic rustic facilities

We honestly did not know what to expect when we booked this. We just felt we wanted to experience the wild real and beautiful Lithuania after a few days in Vilnius. Our accomodation was in a log cabin with all the facilities you could require. Breakfasts and evening meals were supplied by our host who cooked beautiful simple food, most of the ingredients of which were supplied either came from their farm, or the nearby village. We enjoyed cycling and walking into the forest literally at the back of our cabin. This place is a real find and we shall recommend it to our friends....Our only dissappointment was that we booked for just two nights it should have been a week! Honestly if your thinking about it book it!
