Modern hotel in the countryside

We have stayed 1 night in this new hotel in Druskininkai. We had a lovely room (318) with a nice view out in the green. The spa was rather small and a bit overcrowded (especially the pool). The dinner at the restaurant Surr was excellent and the service very kind. The breakfast quality was also good, but there were too much people there during the peak-time.

All good. I had very relaxing stay. Room was nice and quiet overlooking the river. Spa wasn't too crowded. The only thing worth mentioning is steam room that wasn't working properly, however when I asked staff to take a look, then quickly resolved it. Breakfast was decent, but I would appreciate more dish description, at least having dish names next to them for people with strict dietary requirements.

Unacceptable Hygiene Standards at a 5-Star Hotel

Even if the hotel has some advantages, such an experience completely overshadows them due to a clear lack of basic hygiene. Seeing a dog at the table, eating from the table, in the restaurant “Surr” of the 5-star Mana Sleep & Spa hotel is simply disgusting and completely unacceptable. A pet-friendly environment should not mean the absence of hygiene standards. After such an experience, I would not want to return to Mana Sleep & Spa. Photos attached.

TOP Luxury experience in Lithuania

TOP Luxury experience in Lithuania
Comfortable beds, very good acoustic and music solution - it is possible to play same song at each of the room (including the bath), I loved the lighting solutions and architectural style.
Loved the pool area - although it is quite small, but it works till the very late night which allows to visit it with children when the occupation is not high.
Premium quality everywhere.
I loved the food - it is top quality , everything is delicious and tasty.
Highly recommended for families with small children

Stars too generous

Assuming that we are talking about a 5-star hotel, expectations are high.
In reality, the new design and trendy construction is not reflected in the "coldness" of the staff. Starting with the almost complete lack of indications at least in English.
Spaces: lack of spaces. Hall, spa.
Spa: very small swimming pool . Small spaces. Spa with two saunas, a small pool and a hot tub not up to scratch.
Breakfast: good, but 90% is salty. Instead, the dessert proposal is almost nonexistent. Mini briosches and some industrially produced pastries. No cake.
Retainers: wide choice but not always operators are up to '.
Cleaning: in general ok. But 'in the room because of the particular design and the presence of decorative objects the presence of dust and' very annoying.
Poor quality/price ratio.
Positive location overlooking the river.
