A beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant

Villa Santa has three beautiful and renovated buildings in the woods. We were in an upstairs room in the red building. The room is large, fully renovated and very stylish. The shower is comfortable and has all the amenities you need. From all the windows we see green trees. It is such a beautiful environment.
What is special about the hotel is its restaurant. The quality of cooking is perhaps the best we have encountered in latvia. During hiking, we foraged some chanterelle mushrooms. We donated the mushrooms to the kitchen, and during dinner, the chef made a special mushroom sauce for us. It was so sweet and thoughtful of him to do that, and the mushroom sauce was delicious of course.
Please note that the hotel room does not have air-conditioning. But in a summer day, it was really cool in the hotel surroundings. There is no need for the air-conditioning. The woods also have a lot of mosquitoes. The room has at least one window with screens so that you can open the window to let in fresh and cool air.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect: a haven of tranquility, great comfort, and a beautiful place served by a competent and helpful staff.

Fabulous

Villa Santa is a magical place surrounded by a forest, in the most beautiful town of Vidzeme. Every time I return there, I feel like home. The restaurant serves excellent food. In this place, every detail has been thought out for the well-being of the guests.

Fantastically renovated!

What immediately stands out is the excellent renovation of the houses. Not only externally and aesthetically, but also the quality of the materials. The sleep quality is excellent and the breakfast is first class. Just watch out for the mosquitoes. They attack very hungry outdoors.
