Healing holiday on the banks of Issyk-Kul
We were here with my mom in mid-July. If you want to slow down, heal your soul and body, go to the Babylon Pension.
Very green territory, everywhere there are roses, lots of coniferous trees and it is so nice to breathe them in the evenings. Quiet, as the main road is some distance away, there are no no noisy discos or bars nearby.
After traveling a couple dozen countries, we fell in love with Issyk-Kul, here all the things we love so much came together. Delicious natural food, healing lake, mild climate, fresh air, friendly democratic people, rich tour program...
Babylon was chosen specifically for its silence. It's a marvelous oasis amidst the bustling Cholpon-Ata.
Administrator Natalia will always give wise advice and help. Through it we took three tours and we were thrilled. Especially the healing Salt Lake Tuz-Kol and a trip around Issyk-Kul with a drive to the stunning Barskoon Gorge!
It's delicious, double shift, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly, especially if you yourself are friendly and optimistic :) If someone hasn't eaten, you can always buy something in shops or cafes, there are a lot of them nearby. In July, we lay especially on fruits, berries, tandir tortillas, chuck-chuck, local milk and lamb barbecues from "Sheshlyk-Park" (delivery to the boarding house "Babylon" was quick and cost about 200-300 soms).
To the beach there are several options, we walked directly through the alley of conifers (there used to be a pioneer camp there), 5-7 minutes and we were on a quiet clear beach, taking corals with us, as at the bottom sometimes there are pebbles. If you want to drive, next to Central Beach with activities, umbrellas, shops and evening promenade with various pleasures.
Conveniently, nearby is the sanatorium "Blue Issyk-Kul", where you can get treatment even without a sanatorium and spa card. We went daily for three types of massage – general, lymphatic drainage and Thai foot massage.
The doctor advised us to walk at dawn by the lake, and breathe ozone bubbles, it's very good for the respiratory system and for calming the mind - and very conveniently, near the Babylon Pension there is a bike path, which we walked on both morning and evening, a sensation unforgettable. Then I just want to fly :)
Through the Blue Issyk-Kul Sanatorium you can walk to the Rukh Ordo Cultural Center (15-20 minutes), a very pleasant park, and a shopping mall where you can buy everything! Especially recommend the local sweetness suppara talkan :)
Outcome: 10 out of 10. And we really want to see you again :)

Terrible. I could barely wait to move to another hotel.
Everything is bad except the territory. Far from the beach. Everything is old. The food is questionable and tasteless. Portions per child. You order one thing and they bring another.. You pay separately for Wi-Fi. For parking too. Total money grab. The rooms are expensive. We wanted to stay for a couple of days, but we were told we needed at least three. We barely survived these three days. If you want stress and hassle, then this is the place for you.

Пошарпанный ТИПА люкс с ужасным питанием в котором нет ни грамма мяса с плохим обслуживающим персоналом в столовой.
Пансионат Вавилон достаточно маленький. Отдыхали в люксе. Но он на люкс не похож. Все пошарпанное. Кран в душе отваливался. Пульт от телека не работал. Из люкса только террасса понравилась.
Питание и обслуживающий персонал в столовой оставляет желать лучшего. Официантка со светлыми волосами и растопыренными ушами обслуживала долго и еще приходиллсь писать самому что заказываешь на завтрак. Не приносят то что положено. Стол всегда грязный. Приходится говорить чтобы убрали. Не вкусно готовят. Не стоят тех денег что платишь. Мясо почти нет только картошка да тесто. Лучше питаться в кафешках. Вот например сухпаек нам дали на завтрак там должен был быть сок а нам не дали.

Ужасное место , больше не приеду
Территория хорошая , ухоженная , снаружи пансионат тоже красивый. На этом все! Мы брали люкс, фото номера так же видели ( ремонт времён ссср). В Чолпон-Ата сложно найти что то новее. Но, грязь и плесень. В день приезда нам чинили дверь до 23.00. Администратор сказала хорошо что вообще сделали. В душе плесень , на столе чей- то недоеденный чак-чак . До озера не менее 10-15 минут, до ближайших магазинов столько же. Темнеет в 20.00, поэтому если вам нужно в магазин вечером вы пойдёте в полной темноте. Еда невкусная , порции маленькие. В меню на завтрак можно выбрать либо кашу, либо 1 яйцо, либо 3 блинчика, либо творог 100 грамм . Все что идёт с мясом разбавленно либо хлебом либо рисом настолько, что риса и хлеба гораздо больше . Через пару дней оказалось что чтоб покушать есть 1 и 2 смена, как в лагере. Это значит, что ваш стол не только ваш, и что нужно приходить в конкретное время и укладываться за определенное. Мы там почти не ели , готовьтесь кушать в другом месте . Возможно, все зависит от поваров, так как каждую смену приезжают новые , но судя по отзывам, мало кому везёт. В отеле больше всего пенсионеров и их в принципе все устраивает . 3 утюга на весь пансионат, железные гладильные доски, за вай Фай платите отдельно.

Отличный пансионат, хотя цены завышены
Я искала пансионат, опираясь на определённые запросы: самый главный - чтоб поблизости был пляж с разными водными развлечениями (банан, скутер и тд), потому что в июне купаться ещё холодно. С этим пунктом справились отлично. Далее расскажу о плюсах и минусах пансионата:
Плюсы:
•Хорошие номера. Мы взяли стандарт и он был шикарный!
•Вкусная еда. Я не знаю, какой дурак сказал, что порции маленькие, нам давали ОГРОМНЫЕ порции и мы едва могли их съесть
•Вежливый персонал. Как в столовой, так и горничная, администратор
•Хороший пляж, хоть и далековато. Мы и покатались везде, и даже полетали с парашютом!
Минусы:
•Удаленность от пляжа. Идти минут 10-15. Все-таки далековато, если по 2-3 раза в день туда ходить
•Маленький напор в душе! Это было огромным минусом. Нам сказали, что только в этом году так, причину так и не выяснили
•У соседей сломался телевизор и ремонтник с горничной ломились к нам в номер, чтобы ‘что-то проверить’. Мы на телевизор не жаловались, кстати. А мы спали в это время. Нас разбудили, впечатления не очень. Сначала не открывали, но они продолжали стучать и пришлось вставать.
•Сам пляж все-таки грязноватый, как по мне. Много камней, голыми ногами не походишь, будет больно.
•Неактуальные ценники на сайте. Мы нашли ценник по 2700 за один из люксов, в реальности он оказался около 3700, поэтому пришлось взять стандарт за 3100 (на сайте ценник был примерно 2100-2200).
В целом и общем понравилось, с главной задачей справились, приедем ли ещё - пока трудно сказать. Плюсов много, но и над минусами команда Вавилона стоит поработать!)
