Basic but clean facility with an outstanding view.

We arrived to this place after visiting the Tottori Sand Dunes. This accommodation faces a beautiful stretch of Uradome coast. The beach is just in front of this lodge. We had breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast.

Hotel is a bit old. The scenery is very good with the beach. The shared bathroom is very clean, but may not convenience for older age because it needs to walk down the stairs.

I went and found myself being the only one at the facilities. It’s a very nice location by the sea. The bath area is a little small especially if there are other guests but the view is emasculate as you can see the ocean very easily. At night the gentle sounds of the waves could be heard in the distance. Some rooms seem to not have an air conditioner but the room I was in was equipped with one. The rooms are spacious with even the small room easily able to accompany 2-3 people.

Love this place so much! Wanna come back again!

(+) Well, overall I really satisfied during my stay at this place. I love the room, it was a huge tatami room with such a beautiful view of Uradome Beach. They also offered svarious delicious menus to fed your hunger. During my stay, I had a nice dinner with sashimi as my top pick. It was the best sashimi I've ever had in my life. They also have a little onsen right beside the beach and I really enjoyed that. By writing this I can say that I had a wonderful stay here.
(-) Since the location is near the beach/in the coastal area, that's why it's a little bit far from the nearest station (Iwami Station). You'll get tired if you walk there carrying your bag around from the station to this hotel. I recommend you to take taxi which is easily found in front of Iwami Station. Beside that, the staff barely speaks English, so basic Japanese is necessary or at least your body language needs to work more. But, I guess you'll be fine. Don't worry!

Japanese Ryokan with familiar athmosphere

A nice and friendly typical (not upstyled for foreign tourists) ryokan. Direct at the sea at the beautiful Uradome beach.
Only japanese speaking - but I had a great 6 night stay without speaking Japanese (thanks to translation apps).
Great food in the restaurant that belongs to the hotel.
