I needed to cancel my booking here due to a big typhoon that had cancelled all boats to Tokashiki island.
Turns out it was non-refund booking. The hotel manager went above and beyond in dealing with my booking agent to get me a refund when she could have just pointed to the no refund sign.
This is the type of person I wish to support so I will be staying here next year when I return to Okinawa.

Due to a typhoon I couldn’t make it to the island as all ferry lines were closed. The hotel was very unhelpful and not willing to give me a refund. Only the great support of trip.com was able to get me a partial refund, thanks trip.com
