This hotel is ideally located for those looking to visit or hike Mt. Apoi. It's an older, budget style hotel, with most rooms offering just toilets and no showers or baths. However, there are separate male and female onsens available on the ground floor.
The restaurant is good for dinner, but I strongly recommend skipping breakfast. For 1850 yen, you get a pre-made roll with egg on one side and ham on the other—it’s fine as a meal, but definitely overpriced!
The hotel is showing its age, and seems to be struggling financially. The walls between rooms are quite thin, so it's easy to hear your neighbors. On the bright side, the location is peaceful.
The staff are fantastic—extremely helpful and made every effort to communicate with us in English, and welcome patrons with a warm smile.

The location is a bit secluded, with no convenience store nearby. Without a car, you will need to take the bus, which are not frequent. Suggest to pick up something at a convenience store in Samani (there is actually a supermarket Coop Sapporo nearby the Samani bus stop).
The lack of elevator (even though it is only two-storied) could be troublesome for those with heavy luggage. The onsen is not great, except they have some jacuzzi-style jets for the indoor onsen. The hotel feels old but still very clean. The breakfast is served in a takeaway bag with sandwiches and some fruits - quite unimpressive given it is an onsen hotel. However, for its price, this should not be unexpected

The location is out of the way. If you don't drive, you need to watch the bus schedule (and buses are infrequent). The hotel is dated, so don't expect a super clean feel to it, but I am convinced there is no actual issues with cleanliness, just things look old. SInce there are only two floors, there is no elevator. For those with heavy luggage, please be aware you will have to bring these up yourself. The onsen was a pleasant surprise. I normally like the outdoors one more, but the ones indoors have a jacuzzi-like effect added. Personally, I feel it makes the onsen experience even more enjoyable.
The breakfast that is included is also a bit lacking, especially for onsen hotels.

展望がとても良かったです

朝風呂を利用させてもらいました。
一回500円でした。
温泉はちょっと消毒の匂いが気になりましたが、
海を見下ろす展望がとても良かったです。
フロントの方々でも感じが良かったです。
