Hotels that can fully enjoy Qingdao at reasonable prices

I used this hotel, which was used for a giant army camp when I went sightseeing in Qingdao. I used the plan for a special room by the sea at a discount on the sale with Rakuten Travel.
The meal was mainly Miyazaki beef sukiyaki, but it was also quite gorgeous with spiny lobster and Miyazaki chicken.
The building itself is old but well maintained, and it was great to see the sunrise in Qingdao.

Looks dated but still very comfy stay

Free parking on site and also close enough to the train station.
Hotel looks dated but it’s ok. We had the Japanese and Western style room that was spacious enough for three people.
Comes with free breakfast and we also had dinner that was part of the package.
There’s a shop at the hotel, lots of vending machines for drinks and also hot spring and public baths.
Lots of washers and dryers for guests to use. Customers need to use their own detergent but can be purchased at the reception.
Also has direct access to the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Maybe it is best to start with how old and worn down this property is. Even when it was built decades ago, it was only mediocre then at best. The seaside location is in an area of the beach that is exceptionally dirty sand and not really a place to swim near by. The staff at check in do not care about the guest and ignore any request that is made no matter how easily it can be accomplished. The front desk staff were racist and disappointing. Once in the room, we were shocked to see how run down it was. The stained carpet by the extremely old refrigerator leaking water was not even the worst part. The upstairs bath is located on the roof top but the oil chimney is near by so smells of smoke are constantly gusting your way. The downstair bath is in the basement and seems to have not been cleaned in years. The overall value for price of this hotel is bad. For the lack of quality, the price should be about half. We do not recommend this hotel at all. DO NOT STAY HERE! Finally, it was shocking that at the time of check out we were asked to pay a bath fee even though we assumed that the open bath would be included in our stay. You cannot use any facility without a supplement fee at check out.

Nice place on the beach

Spouse and I stayed here two nights in November 2018. You can tell this was a top notch place when it opened. This hotel is just waiting for a remodel and face lift. Great location on the beach (Views!) close to Aoshima Shrine (short walk). Super friendly and helpful staff. Both dinners (included) were impressive. Restaurant breakfast was very good. Buffet breakfast was really well done- dozens of items. Room itself, halls lobby need update.Flooring screams' "Replace me!" Bath in room was moldy. Only real competition is ANA Holiday Inn down the beach. Would return for the food, service, views and price.

面海房有無敵海景 頂樓有露天溫泉 離青島神社近 餐食好吃! Highly recommended!

青島是個沒有連鎖超商的純樸小鎮 ,旅館由車站走過去約十分鐘, (日文訂房網站有寫可提供車站送迎接送服務~不過得打電話去用日文溝通~ 所以我們只在現場預約離開時的接送,司機還護送你確認車次.上月台) 我們入住一泊二食專案~ 提供的晚餐和早餐是日式很多不同種類的餐點,會問你用餐時間,好讓她們提前準備,我覺得非常好吃又算高級~千萬不要錯過~ 老闆娘還一直站在電梯出口迎接用餐客人~感覺很好~ 至於溫泉也還不錯~ 頂樓有露天溫泉,但池子有點滑,要小心~聽海生泡湯很舒服~ 走路去青島神社也不遠約莫十分鐘~ 如果來宮崎/青島 可以來住,推薦!價格CP值很高! 服務非常棒!
Nice room! the view of sea in room is best! Nice food~ Nice hot spring! highly recommended! 5 mins wslk from JR train station. 2 mins walk from bus stop. Service is good! I love this hotel. Some day I will come back to enjoy another vacation!
