This inn is modelled after Dragon Palace, where Urashima Taro and Princess Otohime met and stayed!

I saw a travel program on TV (Tabi Salad) and thought "I want to go!" so I searched and booked. Mansukero is a small inn with 9 rooms. Although it is a little more expensive than the other regular rooms, I highly recommend the special room "Ryugu-nami". The view of the Sea of Japan from the room is outstanding, and the food is a wonderful arrangement of seafood and mountain produce from Tango. The special room also has an indoor bath, but we used the large public bath. Since the number of rooms = the number of guests is low, it was a semi-indoor bath. There is Princess Otohime's treasure box on the tokonoma in the room, but we left it "unopened" because we don't want to get any older.

料理最高、お風呂も最高、おもてなしもよかった

コロナ拡大してきたのでキャンセルも考えたのですが、自分たちが、より注意しようとお世話になりましたが、こちらのコロナ対策も万全でしたので安心しました。到着後にすぐお風呂をいただいたのですが、すごく気持ちのいい温泉で、肌がつるつるになりました。写真では狭く見えたのですが、十分な広さでした。海が見えて解放感もありました。妻が三度お風呂に入ったのですが、浴場に置いてあったマッサージソルトを使ったら背中のぶつぶつが取れたと大喜びでした。帰りに売店で購入してしまいました。食事は板前さんからいろいろ説明をいただいておいしくいただきました。また、食後のコーヒーや夜食などもご用意いただき至れり尽くせりでした。またお世話になりたいです。

気持ちの良い温泉と静かな滞在

丹後半島・網野町にある老舗の旅館。昔からのお座敷と竜宮城をイメージして建てられた新しい部分が調和している。部屋には玉手箱、浦島さんにちなんだ書が床の間に掛けてある。冬ならカニを十分に楽しめる。部屋から日本海の深い青色を眺め、温泉につかり、カニを食すれば、静かな冬の一日を過ごすことができる。ただ一日海を眺める、最高の休息！

カニ三昧

宿泊は2人でしたが、夕食を4人でカニ三昧でした。和室に机と椅子でゆったりご馳走をいただきました。写真の料理は一部です。他にも天ぷらや鍋物などたくさん出て来ました。
お部屋は和室で温泉に近い部屋でした。窓から海が眺められます。

海沿いの落ち着いた宿です

海がすぐの立地で、夏場は海水浴、サーフィンで賑わうそうです。
すぐ隣には、浦島太郎の神社があるなど、浦島伝説の発祥地みたいで、付近にまつわる場所がありました。
古そうな家屋でしたが、部屋は綺麗で海を眺めました。
大浴場は小さめでしたが、確かアルカリ泉質の温泉で、海を望めます。
プランにも依りますが、食事は少な目でしたが、地元食材を使っていて、美味しく満足しました。
時期に依りますが夕日が綺麗に撮影できそうで、車で数分の場所には、撮影スポットがあります。
ランニングするのも問題ありません。古い町並みで付近の散策も良いかと思います。
宿の方も親切で、暖かい方ばかりでした。
また訪れたいと思いました。
