Lovely ryokan - highly recommend

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Nine onsens with different atmosphere. Recommend to spend two nights here. Do not miss the lovely teddybear museum two minutes down the street.

Nature, peace and quiet

Surrounded by nature, they offer very unique spaces with an atmosphere of calm, tranquility and elegance typical of Japanese homes, separate rooms and private onsen to relax in its hot springs.
We stayed at the Hakuo villa 102, spacious, comfortable and spacious, with typical Yukatas to attend dinner, after which you find it prepared with the traditional futon, comfortable and comfortable.
The service is very friendly, and pending guests.
They serve creative cuisine based on traditional Japanese cuisine, very well crafted and presented, an excellent opportunity to delight in Kaiseki cuisine.
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay that we definitely recommend.

A bit outdated and rooms need to be modernized. They have some new rooms, but apparently impossible for families to stay there. And it is very overpriced. Food is excellent though and staff is friendly.

It was fantastic to go out to "no where" and relax after a busy stay in Tokyo. The train ride is quite long but the hotel is a short walk from the train station. All the different pools were fantastic and the rooms were really nice. Sleeping on the floor adds to the genuine experience but I prefer a softer bed. We got dinner and breakfast included. They were well prepared but a bit too interesting for the teenagers.

The onsen inn is about 15 minutes walk from the JR train station. About 4 to 6 rooms in each building. Set in a pretty wooded area connected by paths and steps. Not so suitable for wheelchair. About 6 private hot spring bath huts that can fit 2 to 4 persons each. Good dinner and breakfast.

Very good location
