Enjoyed our brief stay at the Comfort Hotel Hakodate.
Stafff was friendly and professional. Rooms and property were clean and safe. Location very convenient. Prices reasonable.

Convenient Japanese business hotel near Hakodate station.small but comfortable rooms, decent breakfast.

Don't expect to cancel anything with them.

Booked the hotel for the end of April on Booking, cancelled the reservation on the same website because of the seism and Tsunami alert in the vicinity.
They refused the cancellation even tho it was in the correct timeframe, and keep telling me off, saying I honored the reservation to Booking but not allowing me to write an honest review of their methods on the site.
If you can go anywhere else, you should.

Cozy hotel, good location

Cozy little hotel in a good location. Super close to the Hakodate JR Station.
About a 10-15 minute walk to the red brick warehouse district. Plenty of shops & restaurants around.
Hotel is clean & staff are friendly. Nothing to call home about but it’s clean & a bed to sleep in. It is on the smaller side but that’s as advertised when booking.

This hotel is a short walk from Hakodate station. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had good variety. The downside is that we found the mattress to be on the hard side which made for a less comfortable night's sleep. Would also be great if an extra pillow was provided. The pillow that was provided did not provide much cushion/support. The room itself was spacious.
