The hotel shows some aging, but the staff is super helpful and kind. Delicious breakfast with local salami and cheese.

Incompetence regarding food intolerances

At a buffet aperitif organized by a sports association, the manager had informed the establishment of the need for a gluten-free and lactose-free meal since I am celiac. As soon as I arrived, I informed the waitress of my dietary needs, which had already been communicated earlier. Another waitress came to the table with a small plate of slices of salami and coppa without anything else; when I mentioned that I did not eat cold cuts, the waitress, impatient, took the plate back. Then she returned and asked if I ate cheese; when I inquired if there was any bread, she replied that she would ask, offering me some vegetables from the buffet, claiming they were gluten-free, without considering possible contamination! Faced with this incompetence and lack of professionalism, I chose not to eat what was offered to me. It would have been more appropriate to state that the kitchen was not equipped for gluten-free and lactose-free options, so I would have avoided participating. The manager of the Association wanted to report the service disruption but could not find the owners of the establishment.
It was an absolutely negative experience and certainly not advisable for those with celiac disease and food intolerances.

Location and top breakfasts!!!!!

Wonderful stay, large room and comfortable bed. Superb breakfasts and very kind staff. Beautiful location
