Highly recommend!!! I recommend this hotel if you are staying in the San Marco area and want a short walk to major destinations and transport (less than 10 min walk to most places). The location is amazing as a home base. My room had cold AC, amazing WiFi, and was extremely quiet! They don’t have 24 hr front desk but check in instructions were extremely clear and sent to me ahead of time. Make sure to have cash to pay for daily resort charge of 4 euro a day. Hope this was helpful!

What a lovely place!! Main door is down a side street and totally unassuming. Up the stairs to the reception room, we got there early but left our bags and came back later on to check in. The room was quite large, clean, not plain but not too ornate. Nice little mini bar too. Air conditioning had the room at nice cool temp but not too cold. Excellent view into the square below, once th windows were closed, silence!! Brilliant value for money!!

The room was spacious and clean. But the bathroom was narrow and small. Decor of the room… wasn’t really my taste. I wish there was something to tie the curtain to open.
Lastly, it was very awkward to the staff right infront of our front door, literally 2 feet away from our front door. It would have been better if the staff were downstairs. Not sure why the set was that way. They have the space downstairs. Overall, it was ok.

Not welcoming but well located in the center.

The hotel is clean and well located. Close to St. Mark's Square and the Rialto.
On the other hand, it is very noisy in the hotel and in the surroundings.
Be careful, we arrived after 4 PM and apparently there is no one to welcome you. We receive a WhatsApp message to tell us the room number and that the key will be on the door. But a nice surprise when we arrived at 5 PM, a couple was already in our room!!! They had the wrong room. We had to wait for them to gather their belongings and vacate the room.
I informed the manager, Martina. Who just replied that we could have taken the room next door! It did not affect her at all...
If I had known it worked like this, I would have chosen another hotel. I find it unprofessional to leave the keys in the doors and let people fend for themselves...

The room was fine. The room was a little hot, but we are used to having the air conditioning set low. It would only go so low. The really only issue we had was at check in. We got there after the staff’s hours and had no way to get into our room. We also did not have cell service. Thank goodness for strangers. Two young men called the hotel and spoke with the staff, as her English was not good and our Italian was even worse. She had put the keys in a safe that was behind a closed door. Once we found it and used the code she gave us, then our stay was good. We will never travel out of the country again without having cell service. We don’t require daily room service, so we never used it during our stay, so I can’t comment on it. It was located in a convenient place. It’s Venice, so you will get lost at some point or another.
