Fantastic stay

I stayed at Vada Village for 7 nights at the end of June. The hotel is small but has everything you need. Pools we’re great, always had sun beds available. It’s a good base to also see the sights. We stayed in a superior room. Nicely decorated, air con was fantastic. Small kitchen and outside terrace to sit on.
Staff were lovely. In particular Veronica in the restaurant who was fantastic. We were half board and the food was lovely. Choice of 3 courses each night. The pizzas were so good.
We went to Pisa and Florence on the train, station was a 10 min walk. We got the bus to the white beach and aqua village which wasn’t far. The town of Vada was nice too. Overall I recommend for a lovely holiday.

Positive experience

We spent our vacation at Vada Village and returned home truly satisfied. The environment is well-kept and clean in every detail, you can breathe an atmosphere of order and attention from the very first moment. The staff was excellent and courteous throughout the stay, always available and ready to help.
We chose the half-board option and dinner at the restaurant was truly delicious, a real strong point of the property. Breakfast, while abundant, is perhaps the only aspect that could be improved: too many industrial products for an area that would have so much to offer in terms of local and genuine products. A special mention goes to Veronica and Sonia in the restaurant dining room: kindness and professionalism combined with an eye always attentive to the customer. They stood out for their ability to make every guest feel at ease. The same goes for the cleaning ladies. A small note concerns the pool, which, not being for the exclusive use of guests but also open to people outside the property, was sometimes a bit crowded.
But overall a very positive experience, which I gladly recommend. Fabulous property.

A pleasant day

We stayed for one night (with breakfast), we arrived on Saturday around 1:00 PM, were immediately welcomed and shown to our room. Very kind reception staff who explained everything to us very clearly and helped us carry our bags to our room. There are 2 pools that aren't very big with hydromassage and a larger one with deeper water. In the evening we opted to have dinner there and I must say everything was good. Abundant breakfast, coffee/milk etc. from the do-it-yourself machines but very good. There is a bar that you can access during the day until the evening. Everything is really cute. The room is new, an immense bathroom. The only flaws (in my opinion) are the pool water not being perfectly clear and hearing the neighbors at the table being scolded for taking breakfast outside is not the best. It is true it is written in all hotels/resorts that it is forbidden, but I have never heard of waitresses scolding customers even though I have always seen it being taken away. It is a snack, a package of cookies, not anything special...
Close to the water village, in 10 min you are there.

A nice, luxurious resort with a few areas for improvement

Summary: A great luxurious resort with reasonably well equipped accommodation. Friendly bilingual staff. Also some things to improve, see below.
Pros:
-Some of the best sleep I’ve had in months! Really comfortable, spacious beds and good blackout curtains in the bedrooms
-Kitchen had most of the basics we needed for a week+ stay (things missing include kitchen roll, mop head and other cleaning products)
-Lovely new feeling brick built chalet in great condition with private garden, not too close to neighbours. Good soundproofing.
-Great air conditioning which we really appreciated given the 35 degree heat some days
-The cleanliness and landscaping throughout is awesome !
-The pools are clean and really well maintained.
-There are great amenities locally, which meant we didn’t need a car (we walked a lot). A free shuttle service in peak season operates from nearby (5-10min walk from the resort).
-The night market over the Ferragosto weekend in Vada town centre was great to visit.
-The station is very close and there is a shortcut across a dirt track. This means you can travel to Vada from Pisa or other cities easily by train.
Cons:
-Some guests and their dogs are totally out of order. Apparently there is no requirement for any common sense or training and the management don’t seem concerned. This means aggressive behaviour, barking and growling during breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant and during the day is to be expected. It’s not relaxing when that’s happening at the pool during the day. Also some dogs off lead at the pool, which didn’t seem appropriate.
-Food at the restaurant was ok quality. In some cases luke warm at dinner. Prices are competitive but the quality could be improved.
-WiFi signal in Banchetto chalet is woeful. I complained about this and was offered access to the staff network which was no better. This is a basic amenity that in an upmarket resort should work seamlessly inside all rooms, no excuses. I burned through my mobile contract data allowance instead.
