Nice central location. No space in hotel garage but found it easy enough to get to silos parking at the train station. Great room for a family of 4. Huge!
The night stopoever would have been perfect if England had won their football match against Argentina but you can’t have it all.

Central location

The hotel is in a central location so it’s easy to get around and explore the city. Friendly staff, decent gym and clean facilities.

The staff at reception were super nice, every facilities/ cleaner said hello, extremely friendly.
The room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. The only negative is that the hallway feels like it’s on your room at night, you can hear everything. But I loved the location, breakfast was superb and for the price I would absolutely stay here again.

Surprisingly good stay in Trieste.

The NH hotel Trieste is a good choice for a short stay in Trieste. The hotel is 5 minutes on foot from the train station–we wheeled our luggage there with no problems.
The hotel has some quirks. For example, the elevators are small (4 people is just okay) and in the morning when people are checking out it can take time to get an empty elevator for you and your luggage. Give yourself extra time.
Another oddity is the gym in the basement. There didn't seem to be any a.c. and a gym needs to be cool. We propped the door open with a weight to allow the cooler air from the stairwell to circulate.
Another surprise was the breakfast buffet. The room was packed with hungry guests and although I was expecting a so-so breakfast I was pleasantly surprised at the range of options and the quality of the food. Well done breakfast people!
Finally, everyone on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The concierge gave good restaurant recommendations too.
Overall, we highly recommend the NH Trieste for a short stay.

Highly recommended

I just stayed at this hotel with my association FUTURA a.p.s. from Lavagna. A big round of applause to the entire staff without exception. Rooms are spotless, the reception is friendly and efficient, as are the people in charge of breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended also for the location.
