Dramatic administrator!

On the evening of arrival our flight to Pisa was delayed, so we only arrived at the apartment at 0030. Beforehand we had already been in contact about a late checkin (after 2100) and indicated that we would arrive between 2300 and 2400. They agreed to this and we had to pay €50 extra. However, due to the delay, we sent a message directly from Pisa and indicated that we would be a little later. There was no response to this. Then we tried to call several times from 2300, but there was no answer or response. At 0030 there was no one and later so we had to find another hotel. The morning after that we kept calling and we went back to the apartment. Eventually someone came and let us in. Because we were not happy with the way things were going, we also contacted Booking (at the request of the administrator). Late in the evening we saw that the entire booking was cancelled and that the apartment was available again until the end of our stay date. Because the first booking was made by my partner, I made the second booking in my name. We haven't been in touch since. We find it scandalous and not worthy of a serious administrator to be thrown out at night as well as without consultation. Handling and help from Booking also left something to be desired.
