Couldn’t fault this lovely hotel
The food is excellent and the team were very flexible if there was a course you weren’t keen on. Breakfast was great and they were happy to make hot food such as omelettes to order.
There is a very relaxing lounge & bar area which isn’t clear on the hotel website. We like an area like that for evening drinks & card games and it was perfect for this.
Our room was very spacious with dual aspect windows which was nice. Very clean and well looked after.
The ski room has individual lockers, is spacious and not too hot!
Some of our group enjoyed the swimming pool & saunas.
A huge bonus of this hotel was the frequent bus service they provided to and from the lifts. Having said that, the hotel is in a great location, a very short walk to the town centre.
I would not hesitate to stay at the wonderful Piccolo Hotel again.

Exceptional food and service
Hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great views from balcony. Only moan is that head room was a little tight in shower for tall people.
Breakfast was hreat with exceptional choice. I even had a cake every morning.
Where do i start with evening meals. The food was divine. Generally 5 courses each of which was exceptional. My favourate course is dessert, each one was sublime.
Waiting staff were amazing and catered for every need amongst us.
Spa facilities were good, only gripe is that more relaxing chairs were required.
Skiing in Selva amazing. We skiied Sella Ronda which is a must and surrounding areas. I recommend Ortisei which is a great area for lower intermediate skiiers.
One of our party had lessons which were great
Hotel provided mini bus service to local lift stations which were very regular. One moan about Selva is that bus service was poor during the day, probably as we were there out of season. If you are an experienced skiier you could ski out of Selva to Plan de Gralba, if you were learning then you had to rely on buses which were infrequent during the day.
In summary the hotel was amazing, skiing was incredable and scenary out of this world.

Wonderful hotel, great food, nice staff
The hotel has a ski room and a ski shuttle that operates in the morning every 15 min. It takes you to Ciampinoi or Dantercepies lifts. At the end of the day you can ski back on a trail up to 100 meters close to the hotel that it seems the hotel maintains. Three was no snow in Selva while we were there but the trail was still functional. However, it is hard to find the trail. We did't, the first day so we ended up at Ciampinoi lift and we had to take a taxi back (18 Euros for 2 persons). We managed to find it the next day though.
We will gladly recommend the hotel and stay there again if we come back.
