Perfect stay at Piccolotel!

Perfect stay at Piccolotel! The location is strategic for transport, with bus and train stations just a few steps away. Our room was modern and spotless. We loved being in Trastevere; it has a wonderful local feel compared to the more touristy areas. Alex was a fantastic host—thank you for everything!

The owner was always available and made our check in very easy. He answered all our questions and gave us tips on eating and getting around Rome. Room was modern and spotless. The breakfast and dining area was great. The neighbourhood was great for grocery and other shopping. Highly recommend staying hete.

Fantastic stay!

Structure located in a central area well served by public transport, shops and restaurants.
The host is very helpful and ready to meet every need.
Water is provided in each room -which is very welcome - and in the common room / kitchen there is everything you need for a hearty breakfast (juices, milk, tea, coffee, a variety of packaged snacks, cereals etc).
The rooms are very nice and spacious, they have a desk and a built-in wardrobe with hangers where you can store your clothes.
I absolutely recommend!

Only for those who fit

Let's face it: it is located in a residential building, dignified but modest, on the ground floor. The common areas, entrance, corridor and dining area are very cramped. In the room the window is opaque, and can only be opened to vasistas, with external grille. It is managed entirely remotely, from the opening of the doors on arrival, to the management of the air conditioner in the room, the temperature request must be made to the manager, at night it becomes a problem to "guess" the suitable temperature, without being able to regulate it independently. Cleanliness is the minimum standard. By clarifying these aspects the value for money is not affordable, it is worth less the cost required.

Diciamo le cose come stanno: in oltre 10 anni di attività, lei è l’unico a essersi sentito un “disadattato” (riferimento chiaro al suo titolo “Solo per chi si adatta”). Questo la dice lunga su quanto la sua recensione sia in linea con la realtà del Piccolotel e quanto sia invece più vicina a delineare la sua figura.
Definire “angusti” gli spazi del Piccolotel, apprezzati da centinaia di ospiti per funzionalità e accoglienza, rivela più una sua personale difficoltà che un giudizio obiettivo.
Il rispetto per il lavoro degli altri è fondamentale, e da parte sua non ne abbiamo visto molto. Non le auguriamo che qualcuno faccia lo stesso con la sua attività, ma ci auguriamo invece che, in futuro, scelga strutture più adatte a lei – e magari anche più disposte ad accettare certi toni.
p.s.: tra le altre incoerenze le facciamo notare che ha pernottato da solo e non in coppia come in descrizione
