Great hotel in a wonderful location to experience historic Rome

We traveled as a family of four, with two teenage girls, and we all really enjoyed our stay here! The location was great, in the historic section of Rome, walking distance to several sites (like Trevi Fountain), many restaurants, shopping, as well as Roma Termini (a major train station, which was super helpful for day trips). It is on a main and busy road, so at times there were loud noises from ambulances or police cars, but mostly it was pretty quiet (with just car sounds). The windows were thick enough to dampen some of the noise, so we were always able to sleep well.
The room was spacious enough for all of us, and our daughters especially enjoyed that they each had their own bed (the room had a queen bed, and two twin beds). There was a small fridge and set up for making coffee in the room. The bathroom was a good size, although there was limited countertop space (so we couldn't all keep our toiletries in the bathroom).
Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the front desk's assistance with booking a taxi for us to go to the airport (the taxi driver had some confusion, and the front desk gentleman took it upon himself to call him and flag him down on the street). Also the ladies preparing and serving breakfast were very attentive and kind.
It's helpful to know though, that from the outside it doesn't look like a hotel (so it could be easy to miss when arriving). It's in a historic-looking building, and the hotel takes up some of the floors (with other businesses on other floors). We found that there are many hotels that are set up this way in Rome, and it works very well! With that though, every room is a different size and set up, working within the original structures of the building. It gives it character and works very well!!
The courtyard area where breakfast was served was well set up, very inviting, and a great way to start the day.
We would definitely stay there again!!

Basic hotel close to Colosseum

Stayed for 2 nights for the final leg of our Italian journey. The room was very basic. Lacked colors, felt like prison or a hospital (needs some design features and please change the color of you blankets, does not flatter the room at all). AC worked well, which was very important cause the heat outside was unbearable (almost +40C). Beds were comfy. Pillows not too much. Bathroom also very basic. The area is ok, not like piazza Navona though like we stayed in the beginning of our vacation. The Colosseum is like 7-10 min walk. Breakfast was ok, not so much of a variety. Huge thanks to the ladies working in the breakfast room - they are so attentive and fast, they even remember your drinks next morning! They were the highlight of this hotel. So, to sum this up - an average hotel. Would probably stay some place else next time (like near Piazza Navona). But cannot say anything abd about it, it's just for that money there are better hotels.
