Experience not to be repeated

As soon as we arrived we discovered that there was no elevator despite nn was marked on the site. The room was filthy, layer of dust in the closet, on the shelves, on the coat rack, not to mention the papers scooped up in the drawer and the slice of crunched cake left in the fridge. The stench of dust nn went away despite leaving the windows open until midnight. The outer Neapolitans had handles, one was tied with string, the other opened wide by itself with the wind.
One had the curtain (very dusty), the other not: at 6 we woke up x the light. Torn, stained and dusty upholstery, tile in broken bathroom, ballerina toilet tablet as well as the phono holder, split ceramic toilet holder, deceptive site. I could continue but I avoid and conclude by saying that for 190€ this 3 star tree made us spend a terrifying we.
The only positive note was the breakfast (croissant and coffee) made at the bar next door.

To be avoided

The hotel is located in a very nice area and has a beautiful terrace for guests, but the positive aspects end here. Upon my arrival, I was assigned a "renovated" room, although it is evident that the renovation is not very recent. Let's overlook the latch that does not work from the inside and the visibly worn and moldy bathroom; the main problem is the strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I turn on the fan in the bathroom, but it makes a noise as if it is about to take off and is held up with brown tape. I fling open the window to let out the smell, but after a few hours, it is clear that the problem is not resolved, and to sleep, one must close the window since the street is very busy and there is also a pizzeria right under the hotel. After a hellish night, I request a room change for the second night. I am assigned a room directly below the first one, but there is no power, the lights do not turn on. The owner explains to me that they are renovating and still need to redo the electrical system (!), so he fiddles a bit with a key in the entrance of the room and the light comes back on. I go out and return after a few hours: the light is absent again, I report it. They give me a third room, which is truly a nightmare in every way: not renovated, smells of mold in the bathroom, dirty carpet, musty smell, and no curtains at the window (there is a shutter, but at 6 in the morning the light is already strong....) I add to the picture the fact that the hotel offers you, for 7 € (SEVEN euros), the possibility of having breakfast: they give you a little ticket and send you to the bar next door, where you can choose a coffee/cappuccino and a pastry, which, if you pay out of pocket, cost at most 4 euros... Finally, at the time of check-out, I expected at least an apology and a small discount for the inconveniences and everything, instead neither of those things came. Truly one of the worst hotels I have ever set foot in.

Negative experience

We stayed at this hotel for a gathering with friends from various regions of Italy; unfortunately, despite the owner's kindness, we found an embarrassing situation with the rooms, a broken wardrobe in several places, the same for the bathroom, suboptimal cleanliness, and the door to our room would not stay closed but would simply open with a slight push.
It's a shame because the owner spoke of a renovation that has been pending for a long time, but rooms of this type cannot be offered to customers. We avoided breakfast. Certainly, if it is not renovated, we will not return.

Hotel coppedè to avoid.

3 star hotel very problematic for car parking, It offers a very limited breakfast service and richiesta.Ho paid €24 for 4 croissants 3 cappuccinos and a coffee, cold cappuccinos served by a gentleman who smoked just finished us made cappuccinos without washing his hands a lousy croissants from the bar next door. They charged me €20 because I arrived after midnight in short a total of €68 before entering the room that normally you pay at check out I gave him €70 and had no €2 change at check out I was waiting for the receipt for the tourist tax and extras there. (breakfast) that I paid but I was not given anything . Rooms dated comfort and rather scarce even a bottle of water especially arriving at that time knowing that we had boys. Fortunately we had our bonus the fridge didn't work. Did not even ask us if we wanted the wifi password .Personnel at the reception absent a hotel not very interested in guests but money paid €402 for one night + €24 breakfast + €30 stay taxes I will write in all media to avoid this hotel.Value for money very very poor to avoid.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

We had a reservation for Thursday 18 April at the HOTEL COPPEDE' in Via Chiana 88. 5.20pm We arrive to check-in but the hotel was closed so we called the number we found online and Mr. SIMONE said he was arriving. 5.30pm - 10 minutes later Mr Simone arrives and says that our room was NOT ready and that we would have to wait as the previous guest had been ill and was still occupying the room. Obviously I demand to check in because at 5.30pm it was my right and I ask for another room but Mr. Simone always says that they had no other free rooms.
I start to get nervous and Mr. Simone starts making up excuse after excuse saying that the previous guest had a stomach infection after he missed the plane etc. After having demanded for 40 minutes the room I had already paid for, Mr. Simone told me that we could have solved everything with a bottle of wine given to him as a gift and it is at this point that I decide to leave the hotel disappointed by the zero hospitality and the zero professionalism of the Hotel Coppedé.
I leave saying that I will make a complaint on Booking.com and that's when Mr. Simone starts making calls to me and starts sending messages saying that there was a misunderstanding and that the room SUDDENLY was ready and that there were no previous guests sick or someone who had missed their flight.
In relation to the above, I request a refund for my NON-stay due to failure of the Hotel Coppedè to fulfill its obligations.
In the absence of payment on your part no later than 10 days from receipt of this letter, the undersigned will take legal action without further notice.
