I stayed there for a week, and I do not have any complaints. Additionally, the location is excellent, being close to the metro.

Good only the location

Good is just the location.
There is no possibility to use the kitchenette or heat anything.
Breakfast is really meager, consisting of a packaged croissant and 4 rusks.
Also poor cleaning.
The owner is still available.

great experience

The room was tiny and could use updating (you know you are staying in a historic building), but the landlady and the location more than made up for that. Half a block from the subway made it quick and convenient to get into the center. It is in a quiet neighborhood, one stop from the EUR, one stop from Sao Paulo and two stops from Piramide, so we had good shopping and time to spend in neighborhoods that we might not have otherwise. The landlady was super-accommodating. She doesn't speak much English, but she went out of her way to be helpful, making phone calls and appointments for us since we didn't have a phone, and getting up at 5:00 AM to get our breakfast (which was always very minimal) and see us to the taxi on our last morning.

Friendly, quiet and clean

My cousin and I stayed at Giornate Romane for 4 nights recently. The room was simple but very clean. We had a private bath which also was very clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. We decided to stay another night when we returned to Rome 2 weeks later.
