Excellent hotel with a private beach
Excellent hotel on Spartaia beach near Procchio, certainly superior to the 3-star category it has. Rooms spread out in a small park on three levels with a few steps to take between one level and the next. In the center, the lobby - restaurant hall and bar with fantastic panoramic views. Excellent breakfast, dinner, service, and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Descent of about 100 meters, always in the shade, to the reserved beach. An excellent solution for a vacation on Elba. Only the beach bar needs improvement. Poorly stocked and very hot. While the beach itself is wonderful. Just the right amount of breeze.

Hotel a stone's throw from the sea
The Hotel Valle Verde is a scattered hotel with various rooms located within a green hilly area, and with a central area with a reception, bar, and restaurant area both outdoor and indoor.
There is a very nice biodesign pool.
The rooms (we had a standard room) are small but equipped with everything necessary (air conditioning, shower and closet/desk, safe). The outdoor clothes drying rack for drying swimsuits and towels was appreciated.
The hotel beach is only 4/5 minutes away on foot and the umbrellas are assigned and remain the same for the entire duration of the stay. Crystal clear sea and free canoe available for excursions on your own. The bar prices are excessive.
Breakfast had little variety, with a limited selection of sweet and savory items; espresso coffee was available upon request at no extra charge. Dinner is managed with a choice menu featuring land or sea options; the quality is adequate, but portions are small. Vegetable buffet was the same every night. Dining room service was punctual and efficient.
Two private parking lots with barriers are available.
Overall, I recommend the property for those looking for a facility near the sea and with essential services.

Beautiful location but a few too many flaws.
Family vacation at the beginning of July.
The hotel is surrounded by greenery with a slope down to a truly beautiful beach.
The sore point is the verticality of the hotel, arranged on the side of the slope, with stairs to get everywhere. I felt relieved to have children who are now grown and do not need a stroller.
Room of normal size, clean with a nice balcony. The kids' room was a bit limited.
Good cuisine with some truly interesting dishes: quantity is not a strong point with barely sufficient portions. The Tuscan evening was very beautiful.

A pleasant surprise, with a few small
Very interesting 3-star hotel
Beautiful location with a pool and private beach in a bay a few hundred meters away
Very large rooms with an open view, good quality breakfast, and very professional and competent staff (both for breakfast and on the beach)
Parking available
The verdict is therefore positive and I would return there
4 out of 5 because….
A hallway with 3 burnt-out lights out of 4 without anyone noticing in a week is a bit strange
There are a bit too many architectural barriers: for the elderly and the disabled it is absolutely not recommended
If you give me water in the minibar, and you replace it every day, without there being a price list… the water is free. I cannot in any way afford to find it on the bill (unfortunately I saw it later)
The pipes and faucets are noisy
The little bar on the beach is really too expensive… €25 for the 3-course dinner is an excellent offer, but €15 for a toasted bread on the beach, plus 1.70 for water, are 2 things not comparable

We had an amazing week at Villa Verde. The pool and the beach are great, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very familly friendly and a 15 min walk from the nearest town with great restaurants.
The food at the beach was good and not expensive, but we found it was best to go to town for dinner except if you want to trade off a bit of quality/price to stay on side and eat eqrlier (finner open at 7:30 and service is very fast).
I will go again.
