This is a beautiful place to stay, Family run, mountain views which are beautiful, peaceful location, friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms are clean, large wardrobe space, small side tables with lamps, double bed, dressing table, good sized bathroom with shower. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast provided Eggs, Croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, also cooked breakfasts coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice. Good evening menu with freshly made pizzas, pasta, desserts etc. The Quality of the food served is very good and freshly made. They also do take away pizza and this is also used by the local people , who are also welcomed as customers in the restaurant and bar. There is also a bus down into the town within a 5 minute walk from the hotel which only costs 2 euros. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will hopefully visit again in the future.....

Catering to forget.

Prices not adequate at least for the Catering. I can not say anything instead for the stay having not had a chance to test. Prices for the Restaurant or Pizzeria are charged arbitrarily according to the type of Customer who frequents the restaurant.
Some people are charged a price and others another price. Incorrect.

Come già spiegato personalmente, ci teniamo nuovamente a precisare che il menù operaio da Lei richiesto è rivolto ai lavoratori delle aziende convenzionate. Per tutti gli altri clienti, senza fare alcuna differenza, abbiamo un menù turistico che comprende 3 portate.
Inoltre, se per scorrettezza intende aver pagato un pranzo per 2 persone Euro 33,00 in totale, beh qualcosa non ci torna.. Semmai dovesse tornare, si faccia riconoscere, così il pranzo lo offriamo direttamente noi! Continuiamo senza rancore nei confronti del nostro vicino di casa.

The rooms very decent, varied and tasty meals.
Well located, quiet, 10 minutes from Menaggio.

Stop deceiving customer about the view one can view when staying in this hotel, you can not see the lake anywhere from the hotel.

Fantastic food and staff.

WOW! What can we say? We cannot believe that this hotel is only 2 stars. We stayed here for 1 week, half board and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not only was our room spotless, the food was amazing. The breakfast was continental style, and there was plenty of it, and the evening meal was a 4 course Italian feast every evening. What great value for money. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating and we would definitely stay here again.
We hired a car for this trip, which gave us the freedom to get around whenever we wanted, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. There are plenty of walks, starting from the hotel and we walked up Mount Grona, which took us 3 hours from the hotel. It is an intermediate/difficult walk and would not recommend it for children. But we thoroughly enjoyed the climb and the views from the top were amazing.
