The hotel and staff were excellent. However,the spa is not included in the stay,which is not made clear, and is extremely overpriced considering the price of the hotel per night

Check in was easy. Parking is $20 a day and they give you a key fob. Soda water and still water complimentary. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Location is 15-20 minute walk from downtown market and sights but you have a bus stop right across the street you can take directly into town (bus number 101). Rooms have special key card you have to keep in the wall for the power to stay on. Breakfast is every morning and they will make you eggs the way you want them. Good place for a couple to stay.

Overall a wonderful place to stay, however we were never enlightened on the use of the spa, was it available to all guests?
The room was very clean and well kept, any issues we had were dealt with promptly.
Would not hesitate to recommend.

Exasperation of common areas

It is an old restored building where double rooms have been created, large enough to contain the bed and a small table but furnished with care and complete with all the necessary amenities except the sock shoes (at least this is what I could see in occupied rooms 114 and 115).
However, my judgment is barely enough since to exploit the space in favor of the rooms, the presence for the lounge and the breakfast area was overlooked; in the first case if there were guests entering and some leaving respectively with their luggage, to pass you would have to climb over each other; in the second case, the breakfast room is absolutely inadequate to the number of rooms (two micro round tables on which you can rest comfortably only two cups for coffee). Not even the gazebo set up in the courtyard could comfortably accommodate all guests at peak time besides not being connected with the structure. Appearance, the latter, quite relevant in case of adverse weather conditions and if you just wake up.
Finally, in the case of a vehicle in tow and you take advantage of the internal parking with questionable cost (€ 20.00 per day), to report the difficulty of maneuvering especially when exiting the same.
