Passalacqua
The are simply no words to express how amazing Passalacqua is. You honestly feel as though you’re on a movie set.
The hotel / villa itself is absolutely incredible inside and out and the staff are outstanding in every sense of the word. Both Michaela and Alice offered to show me the grounds and property without hesitation and they were great to interact with.
I booked the Grand Room Al Lago and I’m glad I did. It had its own private garden and the rooms and setting of the hotel is nothing short of luxurious.
I have stayed in some amazing hotels but Passalacqua is by far my favourite

A birthday with three or more stars!!!
I had the pleasure of visiting this splendid noble residence transformed into a hotel on the occasion of my birthday.
The structure is magnificent, the main body includes the reception area, various rooms for tea, reading, a dining hall, and twenty-four guest rooms.
Outside, it is rich in outdoor spaces, several gardens, a pool area, an aperitif corner, and a terrace/restaurant with a view.
We started the festivities by having an aperitif and then had lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake.
We promptly received a welcome from the house, a fennel herbal tea and a salad composition with pistachio cream, both delicate and flavorful.
We chose as our first courses, lobster linguine and tagliolini with smoked butter and caviar.
We continued with a sole and a grouper, accompanied by exquisite vegetables and sauces.
To conclude, we had lemon sorbet and finally, I received the meringue cake, with a candle and the staff's best wishes!!
All the dishes satisfied our palates and met our expectations.
I highly recommend an experience at Passalacqua; it has an atmosphere of bygone times.
I would like to compliment all the hotel staff, who are professional, friendly, extremely kind, and always smiling; they conveyed a pleasant sense of peace, well-being, and serenity to us.

Expensive setting, not Real Effortless Luxury
Honest Take
Passalacqua is expensive luxury. Yes it’s a Beautiful villa at top-of-market rates, mediocre hotel underneath.
Real luxury is anticipatory — your towel is waiting, your glass stays full, housekeeping knows when you’re out.
At Passalacqua we fetched our own pool towels since nobody greets you at the pool. No one offered shade or a second drink.
Housekeeping knocks on occupied rooms. Nothing about the service matches the price.
The gym is small it feels crowded with two couples. The pool is small too — it fills up fast and never feels private.
the property is overrun by day-trippers coming for breakfast and lunch to photograph the lobby.
You are paying for a private retreat and getting a content set.
it’s a view hotel, not a lake hotel. Boat access, yes — but no swimmable lake experience and no lakefront pool. You watch Como from the hill.
The press and Instagram are carrying this place and will for years because of its size and location . The hospitality is not.
I do recommend visiting just not staying, book breakfast or dinner, take your photos, and skip the hotel.

Everything was perfect except for lunch.
Just bit too pricy for 2 ppl for €540 & foods & cooking quality just normal not fine dining.
You can find more nice top quality restaurant near here with good price.

There is nothing anyone can possibly say negative about this property. From the moment of arrival it was exclusivity and luxury at its finest. We had the most basic room in the Villa and I could not have asked for anything more. Giovanni showed us around the property upon arrival and answered every possible question we had... we felt like we had our own personal concierge. We have already planned to return. One tip, dont stay at any hotels after this one... it will automatically feel like a disappointment!
