Definitely will be back

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel and had a great time. The location is great: quiet, quiet and at the same time central, perfect for resting well. The property is simple but very clean, no frills but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to meet every need. Breakfast is the classic Italian one, with croissants, coffee, cappuccino, biscuits and more, perfect to start the day. Great value for money. Definitely will be back!

Poor management and disappointing breakfast: an experience not to be repeated

Very disappointing stay. The reception was bizarre: although there were two of us, the lady at check-in insisted on wanting to register only one person. An approach to regulation and safety that I still struggle to understand today.
The sore note continues with breakfast: included in the price, but of such dubious quality that it would have been better to skip it. Poor products that do not do justice to a city like Milan.
But the real bottom line was the management of lost and found. My nephew forgot an electric toothbrush in the room; despite reminders and absolute certainty of the location of the object, it 'magically' disappeared. Communication with the staff was a rubber wall. A tip to travelers: don't forget anything in your room, because what's left here isn't found (or maybe you don't want to find it). Much regretted for this fall in style and honesty. We're never coming back.

Very basic hotel

I felt on arrival the reviews did not truly reflect what we got. On arrival we were given room 4, which I can only describe as the worst room I have ever stayed in, it was next to the reception/main door/ breakfast area, this was very noisy it only went quiet between 1am-5am, the room window was on level with the busy street, therefore we could not raise the shutters as there was no other window cover. The room was clean but very dated and worn, it was very crammed, there was a step upto the bathroom to which the door opened outwards and the bathroom had the smallest shower cubicle in it with the most mouldy sealant I have seen. I instantly went and asked for another room, I was informed the hotel was full but I could move the next day. We did move the next morning to room 12, this room had a large window with a balcony opening, this did make the room seem better and brighter, the room was not as worn as room 4 though it was smaller, again the bathroom door opened out with a high step, the shower head was broke as was the toilet seat, we decided we had moaned enough so never reported them, again very small bathroom and tiny shower cubicle. There was no kettle in the room but there was a fridge and plenty of hangers in the wardrobe.
The bedding and towels were spotless.
The staff were lovely, especially the 2 night guys, breakfast was a basic Continental one but there was enough choice and it was fresh.
The hotel was in a nice area with lots of shops, food/bar choices, it was ideal for the tram, we got the 19 daily into the centre (10minutes) and we got the 9 to the thermal spa (20 minutes)

I honestly expected nothing from this hotel, but it managed to wow me for how close it is (15-20min walk) to the main attractions, and for how my room was. The area around it is super nice, the staff is super friendly! My only "bad" experience is when I walked bare foot in my room, I can feel the room not being the most clean, but it's a minor thing for me

Very good location
