La più grande delle Eolie

Il centro storico di Lipari è molto bello, con i suoi vicoletti stretti ben curati che regalano degli scorci stupendi. Lungo le sue stradine dove si alternano bar, ristoranti e negozietti di souvenir, si respira un'aria di allegria e serenità.

Very commercial

A bit like all the historic centers of the cities of art or tourism, even that of Lipari is very devoted to trade, many very similar shops, many places where you can eat.
Perhaps the original identity of the place has been lost, flattened and resembling many other historic centers.
Not that it's not pleasant to walk through the alleys, but this kind of approval is a bit sad.

Located at the bottom of the Citadel steps

Descend the steps from the citadel/museum location and arrive in the lower part of the city (geographically speaking). Full of all the charm of an Old Town Middle Ages (but a bit later) which was pretty much wiped out of the population from invasions.
Keeping in mind that the Arabs (800's) and the Ottomans (much later by maybe 600 years) did their worst and then some, it is a wonder anyone was left to carry on. And yet the Old Town says there were!
But, today, it is a charming series of narrow alleyways, many lanes and paths to explore. Not quite as exceptional as some other Old Town locations but still pretty sweet.

Soggiorno a Lipari

Centro storico carino, tanti locali, anche la zona del porto suggestiva. Il problema è che questo paese è troppo sporco, rifiuti ovunque, problema di blatte e cattivi odori. Sinceramente per quello che si paga per soggiornare qui e soprattutto mangiare ( i ristoranti hanno prezzo altissimi!) mi aspetto più cura. Sicuramente non tornerò più in questa isola.

Da visitare

Molto interessante da visitare per una passeggiata e shopping a Lipari. Curato e mantenuto pulito. Molti locali, negozi, bar, ristoranti. Ampia offerta di souvenir per ogni esigenza, dal piccolo ricordino all'acquisto più impegnativo tipo di ceramiche locali.
