Very clean and large room with friendly staff. Voucher to the nearby restaurant for a coffee was nice as well. Only downside was check in wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked, since I had no WiFi and there are no entry instructions until after you’ve arrived (door code or staff present). Parking wasn’t too far either. No real windows so room is pretty dark and cave like, except for the courtyard light near the entrance.

I would not stay here again. It’s a self service place where the owner wants the most she can possibly get for the least she can possibly do. I did not find the room very comfortable and it was just feet away from the restaurant outside. I heard people”s conversations at their table from my bed at night. Literally three feet from my bed. I messaged the owner three times about parking and she never returned a message until the day I arrived. Parking was supposed to be reserved for 10 euros a night according to the advert for the hotel, it was 20. When I mentioned this to her, She said to me, and I quote “that’s not my problem”. I said that she was probably not the type of person who should be working in hospitality.

Pros: great position in the historical city centre at walking distance from all main landmarks, parking available close by, staff very helpful. Breakfast included, at a local bar with vouchers
Cons: we faced two main issues.
1. The room was too humid, also with the dehumidifier/ aircon on the whole time. Humidity made bedsheets, clothes and towels very wet and towels didn't dry properly overnight despite weather being hot. The room was therefore pretty uncomfortable to sleep in
2. There were a huge number of coachroaches immediately outside our room, in an external space (chiostro). It needs to be mentioned that the staff tried their best to sort it out but nothing made a material change and it was pretty uncomfortable, also because we had to keep the entrance door closed, limiting the air circulation even more.

The accommodation was very well located and overall quite nice, but unfortunately our stay was ruined by a huge presence of cockroaches in the apartment...We were seeing around ten a day, which was honestly very unpleasant and disgusting...
I understand that the owner may not be fully responsible for the situation, especially if it is common in the area, but it still had a major impact on our comfort and overall experience.

Great place to stay in the middle of old town. The room and bathroom were big by European standards and everything was clean and tidy. Def would stay again.
