Convenient location, clean

Excellent location of the b&b and clean room (uncomfortable that the air conditioning turns off when you remove the electricity card, but that's the case in many places). Breakfast is a bit poor, but the girl is kind and if you ask her what you want from the bar she will let you find it for breakfast. Convenient parking on the street in front of the b&b.

Nice enough but too much sweet stuff for breakfast

Good location, only 5 minutes walk into the Centro Storico. We had a nice room but there was at least one cockroach in the bathroom, We're not the type of people who are horrified by such things but it was a negative. Breakfast was served down in the basement by the owner who was a nice guy and seemed very proud of the home-made cakes that his Mum or wife had knocked up for breakfast. I think that Italians generally just don't get the fact that Northern Europeans don't necessarily like such an overwhelming amount of sugar to start the day. The logic seems to be not to 'give them what they want' but to 'give them what we like'. This is an issue not confined to 19venti because we experienced similar breakfasts in Otranto and Taranto.

Very nice place!

It was clean, the bed was good, we had a good sleep and the service was okay!
When we arrived, they warn't there jet, so the son took us to a place around the corner for a beer! So nice! 4 days later when we came back from our little round trip, we stayed here again! They give you a coupon to grab breakfast around the corner, a cappuccino and a croissant. Brilliant.

Wonderful stay in Lecce

Very friendly staff!! Lecce is a beautiful city worth visiting, and easily accessible from 19Venti. It was also AMAZING to relax with air conditioning on a day that was pushing 40 degrees. Lastly, we were reluctant to take any breakfast from any hotels/BNBs on the trip, but we enjoyed a wonderful homemade breakfast tart here. Definitely worth it and I hope to come back!

Great host, Great location.

This b and b is very good value. It is well situated in an area with every kind of local shop and only 10 minutes walk from the famous Basilica, via a little park. Carmelo treated us as if we were family, not guests. He drove us to a nice restaurant, i templari, as we were quite late arriving on our first evening, made other restaurant reservations for us, recommended trips and beaches, and met us one morning for a coffee in the adjacent Caffe Adriano, where we had breakfast vouchers. Not sure about the very Italian orange decor in our room, but would willingly return.
