Beyond expectations
Comfortable and clean hotel, I enjoyed the absence of carpeting in the rooms. Perfect linen changes, excellent availability and courtesy of the staff, always kind and attentive to our needs. Functional Wi Fi, shame about the absence of a conversation room and an indoor bar. Perfect location for every need.

I will avoid it
Experience to NOT REPEAT:
It provides a breakfast at €9 per person at a nearby bar.
Room not very clean
Advance payment upon arrival (and here comes the fun): in June, 38 degrees outside, and the air conditioning is managed by the reception (absurdly hot in the room with a fixed temperature of 27/28 degrees).... at night, they suddenly turn off the air conditioning.... you contact the reception, and the staff with barely understandable Italian informs us that the air conditioning is turned off until 7 AM, and if we are hot, we should open the windows.... practically invaded by mosquitoes.
A sleepless night due to the absurd heat/mosquitoes and light from the open windows... unable to sleep.
Bathroom sink clogged, resulting in water filling up .
Absolutely to be avoided

The location of the hotel is excellent.
We stayed there for the exhibition Portrait of an Artist. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the exhibition venue.
Our suite on floor five was clean and had all the amenities, was very spacious and with large terrace.
Breakfast is not served in the hotel but it is not a problem since right next door there is a pastry shop and other excellent with tables even outdoors in Piazza Saffi.
On the occasion of another exhibition we will definitely return.
(I advise the staff to install a handle near the jacuzzi because coming out is at risk of falling.)

BAD EXPERIENCE
Business trip with Hotel booked by a colleague. Lady at the reception very kind and helpful, the nightmare begins entering the room, curtains with American tape, bedside tables with cigarette burns, bathroom with bathtub without curtain, encrusted taps and rusted radiators. Fire sensor with envelope on top and unqualified balconies.
The following day I ask for the change of room, kindly agreed but going from a large double to a small single same price. On the 4th floor the room was better but the shutter without a downhill block almost decapitated me. In both rooms noisy air conditioners.
Hotel without breakfast, now obsolete and decayed that I do not know how it defines itself 4 stars, two too many. I decide to leave the hotel on the third day and the (younger) girl in reception was unable to handle the criticism and the customer. NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE, TO AVOID!

To forget
November 2024 , double room , a nightmare seemed to be in a cold room, after having repeatedly urged the heating to be turned on they lied to us outright saying that a law of the municipality connected to the flood at the end of September prevents the use of heating, having made a round of phone calls to other hotels we had confirmation of the lie . The door opened with extreme difficulty, the edge shower with rust, the phone in the bathroom 50s, in short booked for three nights, we decide to leave after the first, citing the reasons written above still demand payment for all three nights, patience but at least we will not get pneumonia, staff and owner no comment. I conclude by saying that I found a lighter in the bathroom, dust under the beds and badly maintained 1915 furniture.
