Meravigliosamente Brillante.

Saw restaurant at lunchtime and enquired opening times etc. Instant good vibe. Chiuso alla dieci Signore. Arrived 9.30 to the same waiter from lunchtime in a completely empty restaurant. Oh dear!
Couldn't have been more wrong. Aperitivi and nibbles arrived with menu.
Only one starter, home made pasta with a wild boar(cingiale) sauce. I nearly died and went to heaven. Partner had a main course cured meat platter. 7 varieties along with pate bruschetta. I had plain roast pork and roasties. 6 slices, must have been 300gms. Side dish of spinach with garlic(lots!),E.V.olive oil and parmesan.
€8 for a lt carafe of Tuscan red.
2 of the creamiest Tiramisu plus espresso and heaven knows how many Grappas.
Chef and waiter both came and joined us for a digestivo.
About €70 including a good tip.
The owner travels to an exotic location once a year to buy local art to decorate the restaurant with.
