I recently had a great stay. The place was clean and very spacious, making it comfortable and relaxing. Everything met my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again.

AQA Palace LOW COST
Must-see – A disastrous experience in a “low-cost palace”
We booked this property after being seduced by the photos on the site, but the reality is quite different. This is why we definitely do not recommend this place:
1. Catastrophic reception and organisation
Located on a small street in Florence, the hotel is actually an Airbnb in disguise, with no staff on hand. No communication before arrival: no precise address, no information about the key box, the room floor, etc. Everything is done by WhatsApp, with late and imprecise answers.
2. Rooms unworthy of tourist accommodation
The first room we were given was #9: a windowless slum, totally different from the site photos (which, of course, never show it). After a claim, we were offered another room... dirty, with unemptied garbage cans and makeup-stained pillows. At 3pm, neither room was ready.
3. False publicity and lack of transparency
The photos on the site are extremely misleading. Nothing corresponds to reality: neither the standing, nor the cleanliness, nor the service. Florence is full of well-run and transparent hotels – don’t waste your time and money here.
Conclusion: An experience to forget, which ruined part of our stay. Absolutely avoid this property and favor addresses with real reviews and real hotel management.

Room was great, clean and tidy.
One note regarding the shower; getting in and out of the tub is difficult due to its height.
One could easily hurt themselves.

Disappointment
Relatively disappointing experience for this hotel which claims to be of high standing.
Before arriving, we received no indication of the access code of the hotel. The only message we received asked us to pay the tourist tax online.
As for the room, it had to be ready by 3pm. However, at 3pm, it was not ready, our suitcase, which they had been entrusted with, had been left free access in the room that had remained open. Moreover, when the room was accessed at 3pm, the bed was not ready and the old sheets were still on the bed. Moreover, the room that had been allocated to us did not correspond in any way to the one we found on the site.
As a result of our criticism, another room had been allocated to us. It more closely matched the description of the room on their website. However, the trash can had not been cleared, makeup stains were found on one of the pillowcases. Finally, the shower water alternated between hot and cold. I had to finish my shower in cold water... in the middle of winter... In short, I recommend against this hotel.
The only positive remark was the person who welcomed us who did everything possible to make us feel at our best in the hotel. However, I had the impression that he took care of everything in the hotel: breakfast, welcome, keys... I pity him

Great stay for our family. We ended up getting two rooms for three adults and two kids. They even set up an extra rollaway bed for the kids so they didn’t have to share the pullout. Kept our bags until our room was ready early and after we left. Great stay overall.
