Friendliness and cleanliness are the highlight, beautiful room, pamper the outdoor garden. Super breakfast from sweet to savory, bread and yogurt made by them! We will definitely be back!! Congratulations then staff!

Bad experience

Very bad hotel Terrible hotel experience. They scammed us.
After we booked through Booking.com, they charged us the full amount. We asked to change the room because there was a door with metal bars inside the room, which was very disturbing.
They refused and claimed that we never even checked into the hotel, yet still took the full payment. Very bad experience.
DONT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL
We cancelled our reservation and spoke directly with the staff member at the hotel on the first day. We explained the issue, and he agreed that we could pay for one night only and receive a refund for the remaining nights. Based on this agreement, we left the hotel the same day.
However, on the following day, this agreement was suddenly refused. Booking.com also contacted the hotel, but unfortunately the hotel still declined the refund. Yesterday as well, our request was rejected again.
We understand that you may deduct the cost of one night, as originally agreed, but charging the full amount is not acceptable, especially since we did not stay at the hotel.
We kindly request that you honor the initial agreement and refund the remaining amount.

Pretty good stay. The location is great - close to train station and many restaurants near by. The breakfast was quite good too. The room was a little dated.

An absolutely amazing place to stay in Florence. The staff were always kind and helpful. The room had a beautifully painted ceiling and the cleaning service always made the rooms spotless. Walking distance to everything - about a 3 minute walk to the Santa Maria cathedral (the Duomo). Breakfast was always delicious and the staff even remembers the guests coffee/tea orders. So considerate.
As it is an older building, the walls are thin. Be prepared to hear other people in their rooms talking or a baby crying.
Highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!
