During our three-week trip to Italy, we stayed in ten different hotels, and I would rank Affittacamere Alba around the middle of the list. The location is excellent - less than a five-minute walk from the central train station and about a 5-7 minute walk from the Duomo.
The room was clean, bright, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the spacious closet and the small refrigerator. The bathroom was modern, clean, and well maintained.
The host also allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which made it much easier to continue exploring Florence before our departure.
Overall, a comfortable stay in an excellent location with thoughtful hospitality.

We were greeted at a nearby property by a lovely lady for an efficient check-in. The apartment was close to the station, very secure and spotless. Daily housekeeping. A busy location but off the street and quiet. Many places to eat within 10 min walk. Great bed and air conditioning. Only negative was a tiny shower and the shampoo/conditioner was not good for hair.

Conveniently located next to the train station. Unique set up where the place is not staffed onsite. Good communication and modern, clean rooms. Perfect for the economical traveler.

Great appartment, well located.

I spent 1 night here with my 10yr old daughter and we had a great stay. The appartment is very close to the central station and tram stops but also only about a 15 min walk to all the main tourist sites.
The room was large and spotlessly clean with a very comforatable bed, balcony, small seating area and ample storage. The bathroom was also a good size and again very clean and well equipt.
There was tea & coffee making facilities and a good size fridge for fresh milk and cold drinks which was really helpful. (The were 2 small supermarkets very close the the appartment.)
The lift up to the appartment is quite small if you have large suitcases but it was not an issue for us.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happliy stay again if visiting Florence.

Excellent location close to the train station with helpful staff

Wonderful help from Alex at the check in location, which is just across the street from the Florence main train station (Firenza Santa Maria Novella). He stored our bags as our room wasn’t ready, gave us a map with cafe suggestions nearby and even asked if we needed to use the facilities before we went to look around. Once we were in the room, which was just down the street, we found it clean, comfortable and quiet, overlooking a central courtyard within the building away from the street. We even had a little balcony. Yet, just out front we were close to the many cafes and tourist sites of Florence, all within walking distance. Codes were used to access the building, there is a lift available, there is a fridge and kettle, and our room was serviced everyday which was great. We certainly recommend the facilities and the high quality of the service, in this perfect position in Florence.
