Sì! Siri!

Nice hotel in very good location: near the historic center, the sea within walking distance, not far from the motorway. Recommended for longer stays as for stopover. Practical parking garage at democratic price.
Nice big room, big bathroom with bath but very good shower taps.
Full breakfast, nice coffee...

When the solution comes too late

I stayed at Hotel Siri and overall, the experience was positive in several respects.
However, I would point out an inflexible management on a specific point: we had paid an extra € 30 to postpone the check-out, but we did not then use it. When asked for verification, we were told that, having paid in advance by card, it was not possible to make the cancellation.
I understand the administrative procedures, but in these cases I believe that customer care can also translate into alternative solutions.
Later we were contacted during the trip with the proposal of a small discount on a possible future stay. An appreciable gesture, but late compared to the situation.
Overall, greater flexibility and immediate management capacity would have made a difference to the perceived experience.

He doesn't keep his promises

We did not understand, when we left the Siri, whether it was a good hotel with serious flaws or a poor hotel with considerable strengths. Let's start with these. The location is great, easily accessible and at the entrance of the pedestrian old town. Then it has a comfortable garage that already of its own cost little, but that was offered to me gratuito.Il staff, then was very professional and empathetic. The rooms are spacious and furnished with early century (last) style furniture that you may or may not like.
After that, the mattress of the double bed consists of two single mattresses pulled together and also badly. And here we could close the review. We must add that the bathroom, although large and with Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware, is dimly lit, with the shower not working.
The coup de grace is given by breakfast, which is consumed in a common space with the reception counter. Our opinion is that you don't need who knows what managerial qualities to bring two croissants and a fresh pie from the nearest bakery and spare guests some truly sad industrial products. It wouldn't take much to turn the tables

Stopover to recommend

Random overnight stop where we were allocated a superior room. Nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious overlooking the hotel entrance in front of the Roman walls. Despite in front of the main road no noise from traffic. Hotel located practically in the city center usable on foot. Clean environment and attentive and present staff
